Just ordered my EE sim. I've accidentally ordered a standard sim, i'm assuming there's no chance it'll be one that pulls out a nano sim? May have to get that changed, d'oh.

So depends what you get and when it was made. |

ordered mine just after midday and decided to go for the £15.99 one which works out at just over £9 a month after Quidco and the £75 cashback. Status is still "Order is awaiting a decision from the network". How long does it take for this to be progressed? Is it immediate or does it take a few hours?

to answer my own question - sim is waiting to be despatched now
![]() Decided against the 10Gb version as I barely use more than 2-3Gb and I can easily avoid using more than 2Gb as I am in range of Wifi most of the time I need to stream. Have a work phone on EE so can easily tether more on that if needed

Mine waited ages on the network thing, I could get away with 5GB but like the flexibility and not having to worry much.
What are your thoughts on the cash back process? I went for the 10 gig SIM/£156 cashback offer. |

Ive put reminders on my calendar for the invoice submission dates.
I went for the 10 gig SIM/£156 cashback offer. I got my first bill dated 15th Jan (joined on 24th) so assuming the 4th month one will be anytime 15th April onwards. |

Received sim today. Not had the chance to put it in the phone.
I dont recall receiving the instructions on how to apply for cashback? Has anyone got a link to that? Also, will it affect cashback if I use my PAC code on the sim? And when they say upload month 6 bill etc, does this mean bill number 6 or the bill 6 months from your date of connection? These two can be different things so I wondered if anyone knew. |

I got my EE sim today - having the difficult breakup with Three tomorrow.
Does anyone know why I have EE in the corner, I seem to be able to ring out, but I have no data? |

Have had my new EE sim on the £15.99 plan for a few days but only just got round to using it. Did a quick speedtest and its flying!!! 40Mbps and a 4G signal too! Oh boy. that IS fast. I never got more than 5Mbps on Three and very rarely got a 4G signal despite being in main big cities. Most of the time on Three , after around 5pm the speeds dropped to 0.5Mbps and i couldnt stream anything as everything was damn slow.
Glad to just give EE my PAC code today and should move over tomorrow. 2Gb data should be enough for me as I'm in wifi range most of the time. Funny thing is I have a work phone on EE and the speeds on that barely pass 7 or 8 Mbps. Take that Three and good riddance. |

Is the work phone actually on EE? Not on Orange or T-Mobile?

EE has blisteringly high data speeds but it looks like despite not using a high amount of data per month on 3 (<2g most months) a simple Speedtest takes 100Mb out of the allowance !!!! Im already down to 1.6Gb left after about 3 speedtests this morning! LOL

Try using the Rootmetrics app, it shouldn't come out of your allowance then.

They are associated with taking money off EE to promote their network. Never knew you got the data free with them though! |
