Marvel strip-man with no face steals others' facial features?
Does anyone know the title of a comic strip story in which a group of people murder a man and throw him into chemicals that dissolve his facial features? He then comes back to life and kills each of his killers in turn, stealing a different facial feature off each. I read this in one of the Marvel comics in the seventies.

Sounds like Darkman, but it was probably just a miscellaneous filler story not a recurring character.

The story does sound like Darkman but he was a 1990 Sam Raimi creation not Marvel.
There is a 'Man With No Face' Captain America story but it doesn't match the OP's synopsis. |

I'm the OP and googling today I found the strip I recalled to be the Faceless Man which was a two-parter printed in Tomb of Dracula and later The Mighty World of Marvel. Thanks for all replies trying to help.
