3g/4g signal
hi all not sure if anyone could help please I have a iPhone 5s and to get a signal my house I have a home signal box plugged broadband I got a iPad air come today wifi and cellular this has not been linked to the home signal box but on the same network 3 I then unplugged the home signal box to make sure that it was automatically picking it up and the signal stayed the same on the iPad but lost it on the phone would anyone know why im getting a better 3g/4g on the iPad and not on the phone please as the phone works fine with pout it when im out the house thanks

The believe the iPad has a bigger antenna. My wifi version certainly picks up wifi better at longer ranges than any phone.

iPad Air and newer (including iPad Mini 2 and Mini 3) have TWO antennas inside but iPhones 5/5s/6/6+ have only one. This is both for cellular data and for WiFi - Apple calls this "MIMO".
