I wonder if Netflix is paying them for this? On the main page the netflix page stands out in bright red.
Obviously, Netflix is heavily sponsoring DS. Why else would it have its own forum and page on the main site?

This is a brilliant move from DS & Netflix . Now we know that a person from Netflix will look & reply, make some posts on here. This is our chance to give feedback & request for titles that you want to see on the service & we may get a response Great stuff!

Hopefully DS users will be offered some kind of discount then *hint*

So basically DigitalSpy is now nothing more than a mouth piece of Netflix. Bad move DS.

Does this mean DigitalSpy will have to think twice before giving a Netflix show a bad review? They'd be stupid to bite the hand that feeds them. This raises some interesting questions about ethics in journalism.

Also I'd like to see a Product Placement logo against the Netflix name. You need to clearly indicate this item is basically an advert.

I think the fact that any of us can freely comment here would help moderate any blatant bias in favour of Netflix. If it suddenly became against T&Cs for DS members to make negative comments I would agree with you.

That is a fair point.

I think this is something regular posters will need to keep an eye on over the weeks and months. Even if intentions are honourable, standards can quickly slip and the goal posts are easily moved when money is involved.

I was thinking earlier, several members on here use VPN/DNS services to get access to other NF regions, and willingly give advice on how this is achieved. Will these members now receive warnings/bans for encouraging this, now that DS is in bed with NF?

Considering Netflix don't really care if people access their service in this manor, I don't think anything will change.

I noticed that the Netflix section on Digital Spy is the only part that has the Join The Conversation feature at the right, Other parts of DS don't have that feature.

I agree, I was pleasantly surprised to see Netflix had their own dedicated forum.

Be able to keep up with all the latest news!

Well done DS!

i'm not 'pleasantly surprised'. DS has sold a piece of their site to a broadcaster... and we still get banner ads for Netflicks elsewhere on the site. Coming soon, sections sponsored by SKY and Amazon Prime?

Its not really sold as that Netflix section wasn't there before. More of a addition if anything.

Love Netflik really enjoy having TV on demand with no commercial breaks. Also a great plus for me is that I live in Bonn and I can watch so many TV series/Films in English rather than having to watch German TV. Really love being able to come home, drop on the sofa and watch whatever I want NOW, fab-u-lous!!!

I don't think this new Netflix forum is going to work out too well.

On the main forum page under Netflix it says: 'Discuss Netflix and shows like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Better Call Saul here!'

Yet Better Call Saul which premiered last night is being discussed in its own thread over in the TV Shows: US forum page.

Makes a mockery of the whole thing.

I think it's a disgrace, I just visited the home page and the entire navigation bar is blocked by a netflix advert and the only way to get rid of it isto click on a join the conversation link that sends you to this forum.
Disgusting, have Netflix actually bought the website because that's what it feels like?

All it will take is for some moderator to notice and then move it.

They only notice things if pointed out to them.
