I must take exception to that. You may look at the Sun - but there is nothing to read!

Honestly - out of all you people on DS tonight - unless you were mentally challenged - would you stand out in the cold / rain to watch the comings and goings of a bunch of minor zelebrities? I'll bet none of you (me included) we're watching from the comfort of our own living rooms.

The people in the crowd are just a bit mentally challenged (and/or they're hoping to see themselves on the highlights).”

I was so tempted to go to evictions in Channel 4 days

NOTHING would tempt me there in this era of the show, they say the booing is panto but it's just plain malicious

Yes, that's the ****. He is there again

These idiots actually put a dampener on Eviction Night for me even if they are booing for a HM I dislike.

Calling it panto is a poor justification for a baying mob.

How long will it be before people start throwing things?

I know it's not exactly high brow TV, but this ensures there is no tone left to lower

I didn't say the crowd read The Sun and therefore were thick. The two don't need to be mutually inclusive unless people read it that way.

What I will say is that the language in a tabloid tends to be simpler than that in a broadsheet. Hence why someone who is learning English as a second language will often be drawn to a tabloid rather than a broadsheet.

Also, Katie H happens to write for The Sun, which is linked to my other points.

It used to be fun to let the housemates hear the reaction but it's just got nasty now.

To be standing around in this weather surely illustrates the fact that they 'aren't right'

I thought the crowd were terrific. Nadia was booed throughout and we also heard get Perez out chants.

To be honest, I only really get the Sun to read the flim flam that they put in there and their entertainment pages are quite good. Its just on here people slag off anyone that reads the Sun and I don't think this is justified. I wouldn't slag off people who read The Mirror or The Star which I think are far worse.

I do buy a more newsy paper as well

I was thinking the same....atleast tonight the mob got it right lol

Will be very interesting to see Nadia's reaction to those boos. She was very well liked and regarded going into the house, now that she's being booed because of her association with Perez will she change or is she stubborn enough to stick it out with Perez

At what stage after everyone else in the house apart from Alicia are upset by Perez and the public are upset by him will she realise that maybe she has got it wrong?

I try to remind myself that in that hateful throng are individual humans who might be nice people in real life but who are just conforming to classic group psychology influences. It's the same thing that infects football hooligans, rioting crowds, etc. They lose their individuality, all sense of responsibility and rationality gets diluted, and....

Oh screw it, they're arseholes.

I don't hate much in life but I despise that bloody chav crowd, right from the opening seconds when they're doing that "whoop whoop" chant to the theme tune. Ugh

oh yes the crowd are so horrible for booing the lovely kind hearted perez

They've done themselves a disservice because they've abused their power and made booing meaningless. It was the only power they had and they've thrown it away.

Booing used to be such a huge thing, but now it's like whatever.

They are even booing Perez during Alicia's interview.

They can boo whoever they want, it's all part of the fun. The majority of viewers find Perez abhorrent, so it's not like the crowd are unrepresentative of the BB audience. This isn't Strictly Come Dancing, you know?...

Its even more scary when we sometimes get a glimpse of what the crowd actually looks like.
