Has anyone else been or going?

I went to Manchester on Tuesday and Oh.My.God! Both bands rocked the arena to it's core.

Korn was just out of this world, a great set of old & new and the bass just shook your organs.

Slipknot was relentless. so much energy and an amazing set including some of the new stuff from .5 The Gray Chapter which felt like they had been playing them for years.

2 Bucket list bands knocked off my list but I will certainly go out of my way to see them both again. If you get a chance and just kind of like them, go, you wont regret it

I have a couple of mates who went yesterday evening, and they absolutely loved it. I do like both bands, but I don't think I love them enough to actually go see them live.

In terms of Corey Taylor's body of work though, I'd consider going to see Stone Sour. I actually prefer them to Slipknot, truth be told.

I also prefer the sound of Stone Sour to Slipknot but the Knot certainly have something different about them. They are amazing to watch and Corey just nails every song. I am hoping SS tour when they release their new covers album and not just do festivals.

I like Korn but not a big lover of them but seeing them live they blew me away, they were incredible.

I'm not a fan of either bands but I know two people who went in London last night and they loved it.

I've seen Slipknot live before but not Korn. I don't really go see bands live anymore but it's great to hear that they can still put on a great show.
