Anyone else find the way Michelle talks about gay people cringeworthy?

I really like Michelle but I see what you mean.

Some people do tend to overdo it with the 'I love Gays' thing, especially now when nobody cares if someone is gay or not anyway.

I've noticed the new thing to pin your colours to is the whole thing about 'transphobia'.

People have repeatedly posted that they started to "go off" Michelle when her actions contradicted her propaganda. For example she would repeatedly state "i'm here for all the freaks and outcasts" that's one of her selling points but then her actions were she would call Alicia "dingbat" and laugh at how stupid she was "one brain cell" etc that's not "being there for the outcasts" that's ridiculing someone because they aren't the same as you.
There was the hypocrisy over attacking Alicia over a banana when we had seen footage of Michelle and Katie stealing and hiding food themselves, yet it was Michelle who rallied the troops with "Dingbat's stolen bananas"....
Then there was further hypocrisy with all the "i'm here for all the LGBT community" unless you happened to be a the wrong type of gay then she would support the person using the descriptor "faggot" . Would she have supported Alex if he'd called Kav a faggot?
So to answer your question no, it's not the fact she hangs out with Katie Hopkins that people dislike Michelle.”

Brilliant, I'd never side with someone who used language like that.

I expect her to make one or two unpopular comments in that pressure cooker environment, and BB always highlights that stuff. I'd rather have Michelle in my corner, though, than Perez, who flaunts his sexuality in a way that does potentially hinder the progress of the gay rights movement.”

Perez never mentions his sexuality or canvass for the gay vote. Why shouldn't he flaunt himself, it's not his sexuality he's flaunting it's himself, you know what they say if ya got it flaunt it!
Anything but Cami flaunts herself 24/7 far worse than Perez, how many times have we seen scenes which verge on soft porn with Perez and Kav? None, unlike anything but Cami and baldy Calum who spend most of the time entwined.

He will clearly say or do anything to get others evicted or ejected so he wins.

I completely back-up Michelle in her comments if this is the case. He acts the way he does and when challenged or someone bites back, he pulls out the homophobia card. As a gay man myself, I find it disgusting when anyone uses this for their own gain and it trivialises genuine bigotry.”

If 10 hate crimes occur in the UK the equivalent would be 100 in the US.

You want to make sweeping judgments about a contestant on a game show, have at it. You want to ignore the truth, that's your choice.

That the same people are loving Perez is very telling. He is the lowest form of life but I'm done with this bullshit. NO one who actually cared about treating LGBT people as equals would be attacking her for getting along with another contestant on a game show.

I posted the articles, most clearly didn't read any of it. That's not my lookout. I really don't care if strangers on the internet don't like the woman from New Jersey. I never heard of her before either but my LGBT friends have all told me their opinions of her and they like, love and admire her, that's good enough for me. They are REAL friends and not anonymous strangers on the internet. So I respect their opinion. Respect is something I don't have for strangers on the internet.

Have a nice day. ”

I don't mean to be rude but your coming across as if being gay and having gay friends is an exclusive club and I think that causes problems or so my gay friends and relatives tell me they don't want to be in their own little club but treated like everyone else
