Netflix Should Sort Out The New Releases And Recently Added Sections
From today The Interview has been added to Netflix USA and Canada. I only know this because someone posted it on this forum. So I went into the Canada site to find it. It should be the first title under new releases or recently added I thought. But no sign of it anywhere. I had to type in the title under search and sure enough, there it was. why do Netflix hide their new titles for ages like this? If this was Sky it would be on Recently added straight away. I really don't understand their new releases and recently added sections at all. A genuine new release, for example a recent film like The Interview should be first in the new releases list. But when it is put in these listings will probably be halfway along recently added! And why do some titles stay in theses sections for months or even years? Im sure Breaking Bad and House Of cards were still showing as New Releases a year after they had been added. I really like Netflix but they do need to address this. If it wasn't for forums like this we wouldn't know about most of the titles being added.

http://www.netflix.com/WiRecentAdditions As for the New Releases and recently added - The New Releases section is for titles that have come out in the last 2 years rather than just things that have been added to Netflix. The Recently Added is the rest. |

Not everyone will see the same titles in the New Releases and Recently added sections, I do however see The Interview in the New Releases section on Canada and US.
What you see in each section depends on certain things ie: what your preferences are, what you've seen, what you've rated and the rating you've given for similar content. |
