Thanks OP, for giving me a laugh! I'd forgotten most of those comments. Now I've seen more of the REAL Katie, I can see how tongue in cheek some of those are. And they're much less offensive than I've seen online, on forums, by Sun readers and Guardian readers and pretty much any public forum.
I actually agree with a lot of what she says, and a lot of the Great British Public do. I guess that the ones choosing to take offence are the obese, those who live on benefits who have no intention of working, and ginger people.
Her views on the Palestinians reflect those of many right-wingers, and although I abhor those views, I can see that she's entitled to hold them. Katie is an advocate of free speech. She said, in the house, that she stands by her opinions. Good for her. And again, thanks for reminding us why she's the most controversial and well known person in Britain!!
