Thanks OP, for giving me a laugh! I'd forgotten most of those comments. Now I've seen more of the REAL Katie, I can see how tongue in cheek some of those are. And they're much less offensive than I've seen online, on forums, by Sun readers and Guardian readers and pretty much any public forum.

I actually agree with a lot of what she says, and a lot of the Great British Public do. I guess that the ones choosing to take offence are the obese, those who live on benefits who have no intention of working, and ginger people.

Her views on the Palestinians reflect those of many right-wingers, and although I abhor those views, I can see that she's entitled to hold them. Katie is an advocate of free speech. She said, in the house, that she stands by her opinions. Good for her. And again, thanks for reminding us why she's the most controversial and well known person in Britain!!

I'm waiting for her to say that all Celebrity Big Brother voters/watchers are thick. I'm expecting it....lol. She won't be able to contain herself when she comes out.....unless she's said it already?

Ha ha! I was talking to a couple the other day. I looked at their baby and nearly fainted! It really was very ugly, like Alice in Wonderland when the Queen of Hearts has a pig in the pram. I felt shocked and didn't know what to say. They, sadly didn't seem too interested in showing off the baby. In the end I said something like "Ah, she's going to change your lives, what a little love' - which was sort of honest.

I don't think it was fake...Patsy and Cami were both immediately moved by his crying. Nice but unsuccesful attempt to redeem Hopkins' nastiness...unfortunately, it spills out in so many blatant ways.

What you fail to realise is the majority of the public (over 50%) do agree with her regarding the obese.

A lot of people agree with most of those comments, so your post kind of loses steam there.

Some of them are clearly jokey, the ginger babies one for example was clearly said jokingly and probably to amuse herself when people got hysterical over it.

The people who make the biggest song and dance about her are generally the people who are against freedom of speech and as soon as they hear something they disagree with then they find it hard to deal with.

She doesn't even say anything that is too offensive. It's a bandwagon that a lot of people jumped on and some are still desperately clinging to it.

I don't fail to realize that 50% of the public are obese ......but what I won't accept is how this vile excuse for an human being delivers the news....it's done to shock and annoy so she can pick up a pay check at the end of the month..... she criticizes people who name their kids after places and flowers but has two daughters called poppy and India....the woman is a cretin
