I am trying to sort out a Vodafone complaint and can't seam to find a web site for Ofcom... it's kind of ironic that their website is down? Have they not paid their hosting. Or a denial of service attack?

Working fine for me too, you know you have to go through Vodafone's official complaint procedure first and that once you've gone through that if you're still unsatisfied, they will send you a letter detailing how to take it further.

You need to follow this http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/files/...9/complain.pdf

Ofcom don't get involved in the details of every individual complaint case, you can complain so that they can log it down as a statistic, but in terms of dispute resolution you need to follow the guidance they give in the link above.

All the operators are signed up to a binding dispute resolution service. You first have to go to Vodafone's official complaint procedure which is listed on their website, then they have 8 weeks to put it right. If you don't agree that it is resolved after 8 weeks you'll get a letter from Vodafone explaining that you've not reached an agreement and you can take your case to the dispute resolution service.

The ADR service can tell Vodafone what they have to do IF they agree that your complaint is valid and that Vodafone has failed to deal with it. That could be letting you out of your contract or compensation.

Have you followed Vodafone's official complaint process yet? no point rushing to the regulator as they don't even handle individual cases.

Once you complete the Vodafone complaint process, receive a deadlock letter from Vodafone or 8 weeks pass from the complaint being made you can take the matter to the ombudsman.

When you get to that stage it's actually the ombudsman service you need, not OFCOM.

http://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html

Here is their .pdf of what you can expect.
