I haven't seen tonight's epsiode, but Michelle would struggle if she met a few men whose sexuality was unknown. She profiles people according to what they do with their genitals. Insane!
It came up in a conversation about her relationship with Perez. Sounds like Perez has accused KH of homophobia a few times and told Michelle that she shouldn't interact with KH as a result.
She was quoting perez when he asked whether he had ever insulted anyone. She didn't just bring it up out of the blue

I heard that too and he has actually pretty well said that on screen on at least one occasion hence KH getting riled up with him - that's it, during the debate task
I think Perez was spot on. You can't claim to be some kind of equal rights activist and then ingratiate yourself with someone who makes a living out of being a bigot and kicking people when they are down. Why does Michelle never challenge KH about some of her hateful views?
I love Michelle but the way she keeps piping up about the gays, shoe-horning them in to ANY conversation is all getting a bit cringe. Kind of makes it sound a bit insincere. It's a shame cos I know she has good intentions but it just comes across a bit false at times.
As a homosexual myself, I honestly hate every ally who ever mentions gay people in public as if they are proud to be a decent human being. I only like people who refuse to ever mention gay people and who make threads complaining every time they hear someone mention gay people.
After all, thats how we got our freedom and began to be treated equally to begin with, by keeping quiet and making sure all the straight people of the world felt totally comfortable.

Thank you! I am more than happy to let Michelle speak to me, I bet most of these straight people who have a problem with it don't know how hard jt is still to be gay in many places. Not mentioning a problem is not the same thing as solving a problem.

Most members I've seen complaining about Michelle constantly bringing up the LGBT community are gay, including me. To me, it just feels like she's using us to get farther ahead.

Why would she use the gay community get her ahead? Surely its putting people off her by mentioning them as proved by the constant threads complaining.

It's kind of a silly accusation to make on her when she is surrounded by gay people on her normal day to day life. Your claims would hold more ground had someone who had no history in the gay community suddenly become a gay rights activist within the house
