I'm sure there's a clip online. But basically they got a lot of abuse online. They were cornering Ken and treating him terribly, normally fine, BUT what they were saying to him, that he was "sexist" and how he commented on woman's bodies, etc... came across as hypocritical because of how the Loose women panel have treated their male guests, like nearly ripping Enrique's clothes off and commenting that they like to go into town and "crotch watch". So basically the complaints came from people saying, "how dare they treat Ken like that when they do worse things!"

You're probably right. Personally I don't see the point. If i see a warning at the start of a show and still watch and get offended, that's my fault for watching. Not that much offends me anyway, and certainly never enough to warrant a complaint to Ofcom.

I was one of the complainers! Lol. I said that they were too biased and didn't let Ken get a word in. I just got a slightly snotty reply defending the panelists. Basically saying they were right and Ken was wrong. Waste of time!

They walk a thin line between making a show that's got enough controversy to generate a buzz, and keeping it on the right side of the broadcasting standards. If it was too bland, we'd probably be complaining about that as well.

I fully expect OFCOM just diverts the BB complaints straight into their junk mail box.”

I feel sorry for them - it must be the most aggravating job
I'd never dream about complaining. If I see something on telly I don't like, I have the choice not to watch it. It really is that simple, surely

This shows that no matter what the episode is, someone will complain. I mean, EVERY single show got a complaint? People need to grow up. As for the shows with the higher number:

Friday 16th Jan was the most complained with almost 1,000! This was Chloe's eviction, so I'm guessing the complains came from Chloe/Cami vs. Alicia, and Perez's garden performance.

18th Jan was Alexander walking.

Loose Women appears on the list with 288 after Ken's interview!

The power of CBB!

So just because they don't like the result!

The audience of this show are such a pack of simpering drama queens its unbelievable. It takes little more than a housemate enjoying a protracted fart to be labelled a bully by the baying online mobs. If people are so upset and outraged at common human behaviour displayed on this show such as arguing, bitching and disagreements you'd have to wonder why they watch BB in the first place since its the whole premise of the show.

Published this morning:

Quote:
“Ofcom carefully assessed all complaints about this series of Celebrity Big Brother and has decided they do not raise issues warranting further investigation under our rules. We were satisfied that Channel 5 had broadcast clear and appropriate warnings about the potentially offensive content, and that it intervened in heated exchanges and situations at appropriate times. We also took into account audience expectations for this reality format and the fact that the series was broadcast after the watershed.”

I just don't think that is good enough.

Going with your theory anything/everything without boundaries goes and I'm pretty sure there are things you wouldn't want shown on television.
There has to be some sort of standards on our screens.
