Last year, the average size of a TV set was 39"- up from the 2013 average of 37.5".

How big is your primary TV set? Are those upgrading opting for a larger screen?

Currently 50", upgrading to 65".

Bigger the better so we also have a PJ and 120" CIH screen.

I have a Sony 42 inch LED also have a 27 inch PC screen.
But finding 42 inch a little small.
Maybe next year might give my Sony to my mum or dad and go back to a 50 inch or bigger.
Or get a projector for films.

Our living room tv is 32". Perfect size for student digs several years ago but feels a bit on the small size in a grown up house!

Have a 19" in the bedroom that is also my secondary monitor.

I assume when we move house again soon we will be looking at 42" (other half thinks 60" but I hold the purse strings!) and the 32" religated to bedroom and the 19" will go with the computer in the new office.

Had a 37" since 2010 but I might change it for a 42" smart TV at some point this year. The newer 42" models aren't that much bigger than my current 37" as the bezels are now smaller.

My living room is too small to justify anything bigger than 42".

55" Sony w905. Do have a 42" pioneer 7 series which I thought had an amazing picture until I got the Sony and watched a blu ray in 1080p.

My mother has got a 42" LCD Toshiba Regza in the lounge which is now 8 years old, always gives great results on Sky HD, It has Freeview SD as well but she don't bother with that really. In my bedroom I bought a 40" LED Blaupunkt which was on a special offer which gives excellent results on with all my Satellite equipment, out of contract BT Vision box and the built in Freeview HD, I had to install a indoor aerial ( A Wilko C3010Y) on the window sill because the outdoor aerial had rainwater coming down the cable, but the signal from Wenvoe is so strong in my location, that there is no problems with reception. The Blaupunkt replaced a 29" JVC CRT which still works great, we have a 33" CRT set badged by Goodmans which still works great too, but both are no longer needed.

Our's is a 65" Sony bought last year - it's a cracker, also the best sound I've heard from a flat screen TV.

I did see a 90" Sharp LCD in Costco the other week - looked rather smart.

I'd probably be more interested in how much it weighs but the first three shops I googled pointedly omit that from the specs!

EDIT... found it. It's a mere 11 stone/150 lbs unpacked. Over half a hundredweight and a 7 foot wide monster to carry - do not try this at home!

Is that the one with the two big circular speakers on each side? There's no speaker grill just exposed speakers? If it's the one I'm thinking
