It's a free poll and therefore I don't think Channel 5 are under any obligation to even consider the votes for a moment. Any illusion as to the viewers having a choice is completely that. An illusion. There's no way on Earth Perez won't be there in the final. Channel 5 will make sure of it.

When the outcome is revealed will anyone question it? Are the Big Brother team legally obliged to be truthful? Do Big Brother or Channel 5 have a precedence of truthfulness? Really very rather slightly completely not.

Perez should be eternally nominated as he doesn't deserve a pass for the final.

He'll be in the final anyway..eternal nominations help him almost as much as the pass.

If he's up automatically..there are more nominations to go around (as they can't target him)..meaning he'll be up against more people..meaning he's safer than he would be if it was just normal noms. Those who want him out are screwed either way.

BB has been so far up Perez' ass this series it's ridiculous. Should have been kicked out by now and instead every day it's perez being shoved down our throats instead. He's given at least double the airtime of any other housemate every episode, has now got immunity when he said he wanted to leave and could well just walk through more than half the house to the final.

I find him being forced upon us incredibly tedious. This is a complete no-lose situation for him as the way the house is he'll be up every week regardless. BB are just giving him yet another opportunity to change the rules and come out on top. Either he becomes untouchable or splits the entire house's voting up and it ends up a 6 way fight each eviction pretty much guaranteeing he'll stay until the last few days.

I hated him for the first few days, but at least it was somewhat interesting to see his (more mentally unstable than jeremy) personality and the arguments. Now the arguments are the same as they were 10 days ago and it's becoming far too boring watching him dance in front of mirrors by himself in his pants for the 8th day running. For me it's holding back the show, not so much the person himself but the way BB are bending over backwards to accommodate him. Either he's had something in his contract all along or he's some kind of a mole. It's felt fishy ever since the Jeremy incident imo.

Also for what it's worth i feel sorry for those that actually pay to vote. The whole thing is rigged to shit and people should get their money back. If they're going to do 'twists' and insta-nominations any voting really should be free. Very surprised they haven't been shut down by ofcom or something similar by now.

I doubt if Perez is going anywhere, however viewers are being given the choice to either have him nominated every week, or immune. Whichever way they vote, it removes the easy option for the rest, and creates more tension and divisions in the house, which makes it more interesting to watch. Surely that's what people want. And that's why BB has done this.
