In canada it only plays on OUT TV which is an obscure lessor specialty channel too.
Michelle constantly mentioning her focus of gays lesbians etc is because that is her ONLY market and ONLY fanbase, people who know her from that show.
I've never heard of her, seriously.”
I like Michelle (or at least DID like her before CBB) but youre right. Everything she's done has come about from riding on the back of Rupaul, and I wouldn't even say Rupaul is that famous. She was his sidekick when he had a chat show on one of the music channels, she presented a breakfast radio show with him in NYC, and now she's a judge on a Drag Race. Prior to that she was in a failed girl group which happens to have scored a track on The Bodyguard soundtrack album. Rupauls Drag Race is on Logo which is a niche gay interest cable channel. Now she hosts the spin-off tours, drag themed cruise holidays etc which Ru wouldn't touch with a barge pole. She is very eager to have RDR come to the UK (Jonathan Ross has bought the rights) and sees herself as one of the judges. I think that's what her doing CBB is really all about, getting herself known in the UK to boost the chances of RDRUK being a success.
As for Cami Li, she told us on opening night thst she's "a pretty big deal" so she MUST be famous hmmm?
