Funny world we live in, where the better off (who pay more taxes btw,) are frowned upon when they take advantage of what's offered, yet those who contribute nothing have no problem in getting their hands on whatever they can.

KP says a driver drives her son to school daily and there is a nurse in the car and both are paid for by the government. KH says is that fair when in her position she can afford it. KP says she's paid her taxes too and it would cost a grand a day?

Can't see how it would cost a grand a day? Even if you hired a full time nurse off the NHS their salary is probably less than 30k a year.

This is totally disgusting. Katie Price is probably in one of the top tax bands. She is not on any benefits. People on benefits with disabled child/children also get this treatment.
It's tax payers that pay for it and Katie and her entire family ARE tax payers.

Katie Hopkins needs to realise how much a disabled child in care would cost. The fact Katie has kept, loved and supported her child and raises thousands for charity to improve their lives speaks volumes. Every mum with a disabled child has to see their child suffer. It's low even for Hopkins.

Considering that KP has probably paid alot via her taxes, I think it's fair she reaps the rewards. Besides, this isn't KP we're talking about...it's her child, who should be entitled to the best care anyway, regardless of how much taxes his parents are paying.

I doubt that was the point Hopkins was making.

More than likely she meant the rich parent would pay for the very best care for their disabled child and the poor parent would be left to fend for their disabled child without any help.

Why are people who didnt care at school, who have children who cant afford them, have no house of their own or limited means of earning money allowed to get benefits and a house and dont have to worry about tuition fees etc Surely those who work hard, who gave a damn a school, who gave up alot to achieve something should also benefit - otherwise why dont we all just give up.

I don't understand why he requires a Taxi and a Nurse surely there must thousands of Children in the country with the same condition do they all get Taxis and Nurses.

Talk about twisting things, someone mentioned this in another forum. It was based on the fact Harvey has a medic in the car when he is driven to school(I think it was school). Nowhere did it mention it was for treatment, KH said she thought with her money KP could pay for the medic instead of having the government pay.
I totally agree in this instance. If it's not essential and you can afford it, get your wallet out.

She just says if you can afford it, why dont you give the tax payer a break as she is in a very lucky position. It's an opinion. She is not attacking a disabled child, I agree with Hopkins, KP is a multi millionaire, local taxpayers via Counci Tax are paying, and that money could be used to give more support elsewhere.

It is the system that should make it a means tested benefit, or allowance.

Anyhoo, i'm sure given her wealth, that KP has ensured her son has the best care/treatment at home, however if he's entitled to any form of other care/transport...then there's nothing wrong with her taking advantage of that.
