So, BB just happened to have that secret room set up for Perez.
I think nowadays it is definitely scripted. The whole Perez thing of not being able to cope for the past day or so - it was all leading up to the secret room. Lets just go with the flow!
Well everyone's a winner.... he gets removed from the house so we can see how entertaining they are .
He may be up every week if that's what the viewers want and with him not in the nomination mix..... they don't have an easy nomination and we see where their loyalties lie .

I think the secret room was supposed to be the twist on tomorrow night's nomination. It was hastily pressed into service when Perez threatened to walk.

I love Perez but BB has officially JUMPED THE SHARK.
I feel like Perez was threatening to leave so they hastily devised this "secret task" to prolong his stay.

Maybe he genuinely did leave. Then BB made a deal with him to go into the secret room and save their golden child. Then they filmed the diary room segment afterwards with BB telling Perez the task is to fake leaving.
Mm, I dunno, I'm not so convinced that the build-up was 'scripted'. The HMs seemed to buy it anyway.
I'm sure the plan always was to have Perez in a secret room and this was the perfect opportunity to do it NOW.

She never got a free pass to the final, she was just safe from ONE eviction...hardly protecting her.

Perez hasn't got a pass to the final. The app has 2 choices, one for a pass to the final, the other option is for him to be up for eviction from now on.
I GUARANTEE that if the second option happens you won't give a damn. But if he get's a free pass to the final you will kick up about it.
The double standards on here is laughable.
obvious obvious set up. They probably told Perez about it days ago, and the tweet too so he could work on his act.

Not necessarily. I just posted something in a duplicate thread about this.
I have the idea that it might be more the case of the magic of editing.
That we were presented things a certain way as viewers. When Perez was talking about walking on the HL show, that may have actually happened AFTER he had already been set the task, but the editing may have deliberately showed it out of order for a narrative effect.
That's a plausible theory isn't it?
Rather than a knee jerk reaction to last nights episode, it's important to take this in the context of how Katie Hopkins has had special treatment from day 1
- viewing the housemates in a secret room and selecting the first 2 housemates for eviction
- being sheltered from eviction when Katie Price pulled her out of eviction
- constantly being showered with compliments and admiration both inside and outside the house
.......FFS her head was getting so big she could barely get it through the diary room.
And this for someone that bullies, isolates and revels in cruelty.
It was getting beyond coincidence to the extent that it felt like BB were lining KH up for a win.
I think given that big brother nearly made a bullying situation far worse for Perez (by trying to isolate him from Nadia with that tweet), I think the secret room option was the right option and the app vote still gives viewers a chance to vote on Perez.
