Cholo is a regarded as a derogatory term. However, certain cultural groups, into certain music and fashion adopt the term to describe themselves. It was Cami that referred to herself as a Chola. Patsy has called her Chola and Cami seems to like it. Therefore Perez can not be reprimanded for using that term if Cami instigated it. It would be ridiculous to warn him about calling her bitch, as she uses this term and refers to others with this word constantly.

Tonight was the first time I've actually heard it, surprised there hasn't been a thread on it before now then !!!
If as you say it's a word she use's herself and has been happy to be called it then it would be wrong to reprimand him.

If this is the case then Ofcom and the police should investigate Ch5 and the producers as they are getting people to vote (and thus part with cash) under false pretences!

If Chola is offensive, then he's out of order.

But if Alexander had for example used the n word to describe himself or someone else who is black, I understand that this would be acceptable as they own the world. But just because he'd have used it, Kav couldnt turn round and use itt back to Alexander. Isnt it the same with this hispanic term that Cami is using?

Patsy has referred to Cami as Chola several times. It is used to describe a certain 'look' especially the make-up (harsh drawn on arched eyebrows) and gangsta swagger, as well as the derogatory meaning.

Its a mess.

Perez was going to leave spoiling bbs secret room task.

Bb didn't even ask Perez to tone down his language in case he said he wasn't doing the task.

That's what we are supposed to believe.

Imo it was all planned - he was only acting.

It also got him out of being nominated this time.

Why only voting in the app?

I do hope when Perez gets out he blows the lid off the producers manipulations.

It doesn't look good for the summer bb does it?

what isnt acceptable today could be commonplace tomorrow.

Even if it isn't, he still is out of order. He has been the worst HM this year behaviour wise. When Jeremy had his incident with Chloe in the bathroom, even then he was like "I don't feel safe with him in this house". Why would a gay man feel "threatened" about the straight drunken advances of a guy to a girl. People called him out on it saying it had nothing to do with him, from then I feel he's been playing a game.

I'm no Perez fan in any way. But people trying to find an excuse to be offended, most of them by a word they've never heard of is getting a tad obsessed with finding an excuse just to be offended. This is something she has referred to herself as proudly...rightly or wrongly... This is part of the reason why people like Perez end up winning shows, because those who are so against them end up making up such silly reasons to accuse them of stuff, people like me who disliked him end up thinking I hope he wins just to annoy those coming up with those outrageous reasons. If he wins, pat yourselves on the back for helping him, your his biggest supporters with this rubbish :P

its so blatantly obvious that BB are favouring with Perez. They see him as the attraction the one whos pulling in all the viewers.

All these things going in his favour, he gets away with everything. It annoys me how the show treats housemates differently. They never treat them to the same level.

What worries me is that we saw this on BB when Helen won and i fear that the same thing is happening here, I just feel that this is something which is going to keep happening on every show.

Theirs no point in voting or having an opinion, none of it matters. We now get the choice to give Perez a free pass to the final or put him up for eviction. We all know that the opinion will be split and we all know that he will get a place in the final. BB will claim that the public decided, but in truth BB decide they are not daft, they know how to manipulate and con the general public.

They are not going to get my one vote, why should i bother wasting any money on the phone bill for that show. Whats the point!

Which is exactly why anybody believing what comes out of Perez' mouth (that it's in his contract) is a fool. He says things to goad people, it's what he does. It's the Perez show remember

I think that, instead, they're wanting consistency.

Yes, BB's manipulations and the way BB favours certain HMs are among the reasons I've stopped voting.

So if I woman using those words its ok?

Sorry, sick of this pc policing. HM's can't say anything these days.

I understand why BB warned Alexandra over the word faggot and ken with neggro but bitch or dog, no of that warrents a warning - especially since cami-li and Hopkins have been equally as nasty and have received no warnings.

The way Perez shouted at BB in the DR in HL show, I couldn't believe they didn't give him a warning or something, he was really rude to them,so disrespectful - seems Perez can do what he wants ! very strange - They must have been worried he was going to walk ! gets away with anything doesn't he.

They haven't treated hms equally for years.

I really don't understand why viewers get their knickers in a twist over BB's machinations these days. I think the producers sit there every night thinking what's the best way to wind up the public and get more viewers/money in the coffers. They don't care about fairness, hms, tasks, rules, live feed etc etc.,

It's only an entertainment show after all, same as TOWIE, X factor etc.,
