It was ONCE and by a housemate not BB!
Which is exactly the same situation, and number of times, as Perez. Big Brother was responsible once, and another housemate was responsible once. But they've both been "saved" twice. |

Like him or not, and I'm really not sure how I feel, Perez is always going to give highlight footage.
I can't blame them for wanting him to stay, they can guarantee there will always be something to show while he is on the show. Imagine Patsy, Calum, Kav and Cheggers as the final four zzzz |

It's pathetic and so blatant
They need to stop pandering to his petulant and attention seeking behaviour. Can they not set him a task were he just has to shut his mouth all day? |

I'd rather watch James Arthur's sex tape over The Perez Show.

It's vote to save. They don't need to "fix it" for Perez. If anything they're doing this so that more outraged Perez-haters will vote for Katie Hopkins to win.

All these threads about fixing to be in the final yesterday look really foolish now.

Well I'm not going to stop watching Big Brother just because the producers are giving all the airtime to that hideous creature.

Now, however, a minimum of three housemates will be up for every eviction, meaning that the vote will be split. As it's a vote to save, there is the strong possibility that one of the other housemates may attract fewer votes to be saved, especially if it's one of the more vanilla personalities. Although my impression is that there are many more viewers who want Perez out than in, he will still attract votes to save - partly because many viewers enjoy his trouble-making, and partly because he has been given so much screen time, he has the benefit of the limelight. There may be a combination of housemates that, if collectively nominated with Perez, could all win out against him: say, Katie H., Callum and Keith (possibly also Michelle). But the reality is that, with the exception of Katie H., these more popular housemates are not going to be nominated as long as there are the likes of Nadia, Cami Li and even Kavana in the house. This means that, by my reckoning, Perez isn't going anywhere soon and may well still reach the final. The fact that Perez has been eternally nominated *looks* like it's fair, but the reality is: he has still been able to dodge one eviction opportunity because of the secret room task, and, because of the inevitability of future split votes to save, is now much better positioned to stay in the house than he was before. It is the way with Big Brother that, the longer controversial housemates stay in, the more popular they become - there being something about the programme that just appeals to the perverse in people. All of this means that it's still perfectly legitimate to cry 'fix'. Whichever way you look at it, Perez has been given many more opportunities than other housemates and the viewers are still being played. |

I don't think they do, because the manner of his 'eternal nomination' by the viewers means that he's still fairly protected. Had he still been eligible for nomination by other housemates, it's possible that there could have been an eviction where just two housemates, including him, were up for the public vote. This would have almost certainly seen him go.

Whichever way you look at it, Perez has been given many more opportunities than other housemates and the viewers are still being played. Sadly I do think that we have Perez for the duration. And this has been a clever little fix by the BB production team. BB will now look to pick off the unfavoured house-mates. Cami-Li is set up to go on the next eviction. I would then think it will be Kavana and Keith on grounds of vanilla and boringness and then probably Michelle who is getting very negative edits already, Thus leaving the high profile Perez and Katie-H alongside ladies eye-candy Gollum sorry Callum and golden girl Katie-P to contest the final. Therefore hopefully maximising voting revenues. That's my prediction anyway

I realise I'm in the minority, but I love Perez. The guy is brilliant and his humour has me in stitches. Yes he is over the top and self obsessed, but so are most celebs, it's what drives them on! He just happens to be overtly expressive and very loud, which is great!
The fact he gets under KH's skin is like the icing on the cake. ![]() CBB legend! |

It's an entertainment show - the task was funny and it kept Perez in for a few more days at least but now he could be gone at any time. Also, it's no fun when nominations are so obvious that you know everyone will take the easy option and vote the same person. Nomination 1 = Perez, Perez, Perez, Perez etc... Now they will be forced to make two nominations on each other, without the obvious option. Bravo. It's always funny to see who people nominate when the obvious option is taken away and they have to scrape the barrel. |

If his contract guarantees him a place in the final as he has claimed then a major fraud is taking place with money taken from public vote.

I'm as cynical as the next person, but even as a Perez fan I think he will go now he s up every time. The public don't like him because they don't get him, and that will be enough for him to be evicted soon.
As has been said this is a clever little fix by BB to protect Perez |

Now that we know that Perez is being put up for nominations every week, the title of this thread is rendered redundant.
