I don't think so. The room was already ready when he went is so I think all this was pre planned with Perez in the know and looking at the show I think its been pretty scripted all along since KH going in.

I'm half-way between the two theories and think the room was probably made up for the series, but they waited for it to evolve a bit before deciding who to put in there. Once they got the measure of Perez and realised how emotionally volatile he was, they put the idea on standby, knowing they could always use the secret room trump card to derail any thoughts of walking, when things reached a head.

Why couldn't they just let him leave 😠

Whilst the room was obviously ready, not sure that they had Perez in mind to go there. I was thinking maybe they would have liked (and planned for) Hopkins to be there somehow....since she loves to diss people.

Yes I agree with your theory but that assumes that Perez really wanted to leave - I am not so sure.

Yes thats it exactly. It was pre prepared probably as an emergency task ready to use on someone depending on what drama unfolded. There was NO WAY there were going to let Perez go, so that decision came about in ten seconds flat once he said he was off.

I am thrilled he is in there, he is hilarious in the bed sit… love him. The others will be so glad he is gone…the ones who think they now have a great chance of winning, and it will be great to see their faces when he re enters.

I still think when it comes to the crunch and the final vote to win, its going to be Cheggers who will have the public behind him as a lovely man, and will take the prize.

They've already done a Katie H spying on the housemates and giving a running commentary scenario (opening night) so perhaps putting her in there would be rather repetitious. The biggest character in the house (allegedly) walking does have a feel of something they might actually have planned.

Yes I tend to agree that is more plausible. (Maybe they had the room ready for whoever decided was going to leave, i.e. if they thought they were a 'catch' and wanted to keep them there).

The room would have been ready on Friday just in case Perez had been evicted and an emergency safe house was needed to keep him in the show.

After seeing tonight BOTS, for me the message is becoming loud and clear that the producers want Perez in the final.
Emma took every opportunity to be pro-Perez, and promoting the public vote for a pass to the final for the bellend!
