I think last nights 'twist' was one of the most blatant manipulations so far. It makes me believe there's something in Michelle's comment that it's in his contract to be in the final 3.

Yep it probably is true going on what we have seen with his behaviour and lack of punishments. He gets rewarded and nomination pass. I'm guessing he is joined by the evictee of his choice .. Nadia .. and they return before Fridays eviction.
I'm only watching last nights show now so I don't know if voting lines were opened. However if they have then he probably gets to save one of the nominated hms .. either way Nadia will be safe.
I'm surprised Nadia didn't try and talk to Perez or stop him from leaving as she normally intervenes in everything else. Maybe she's in on it too. Who knows with this series.

They are going to do all they can to protect their "cash cow".
Sadly Big Brother has become too predictable, I wasn't surprised that the Secret Room option was brought in for Perez at this time. I believe he once said he was being paid the highest fee, was this because he had got to act all the way through the show and make himself so objectionable to earn his fee ? I also cannot understand why Perez does not get more warnings for his unreasonable outbursts, unless this is part of his contract.
Perez hasn't actually been given a pass to the final - it is up to the public to decide and vote, unlike with Helen Wood where we had no say in the matter.

I have never subscribed to the theory that BB wants this or that person to win. However, I do believe that they do things to keep certain housemates in till the end as they believe that controversial housemates add to the drama.

I don't recall them ever saying the app votes will be verified by an independent adjudicator like they do with the eviction votes. Personally, I think it would be easy to say the result is whatever they want it to be. None of us could prove it either way.
Nothing stays the same in life and I should imagine bb in it's original format would be crap to watch now 😒
