Hi folks, it's been a long time since I posted anything, I've been an avid fan of BB and CBB since the start, I feel the show has now run its course, have seen both shows go into decline since the switch to C5, these days it's plays on people's weaknesses, and thrives on causing bullying, abuse, and general disharmony, maybe I'm old fashioned or just old, I'm not down with the kid's, is society so fractured, you only have to look at other shows, Jeremy Kyle, benefits Britain, ect, no longer do we see respect good manners or tolerance.

CBB, have blatantly bent backwards to save that awful excuse of a man Perez Hilton, I also don't have much time for Katie Hopkins, however I'm incandescent of the blatant twist, and secret room to ensure Perez stays through to the final, as he has vocalised on many an occasion that it's in his contract.

There is apparently a vote to give him a pass to the final, or up for eviction every time, I think we all know which way that's going to turn out.

I use to vote for my favourite, but stopped that some time ago, it's a total waste of time and money, I'm convinced the production team manipulate the vote by closing the line when they get the result they want.

I agree totally with you. What's changed drastically is that BB used to demonstrate that the British Public were basically Decent, Fair-minded, Kind, and Civilised people, so the most decent souls would win in the end. It was a wonderful reaffirmation of our Society values....since Ch 5, it's been mostly the vilest, most selfish, uncontrolled, egotistic, barbarians who seem to be manipulated by producers to Win under the guise of Being Entertaining. It's now, with Helen, Gary Bussey, and Perez, gone to 18th Century vile mocking of Unbalanced, horrid, cray-crays and self-centred performing monkeys who Perform execrable acts on TV for money. AND self-admitted 'Contract' guarantees. What's the point if it's all pre-planned, signed and sealed before the series begins??

Whilst I am also disappointed with the dumbing down of BB, it is a TV game show and not a religious programme. It was never meant to represent morals and is primarily there for entertainment. As such, Perez provides this in bucket loads!

What I most object to is that it is looking increasingly true that the whole shooting match is rigged, i.e. who will win. If this is true (and many are suspecting this...check out some threads here), then it is a total mockery of "who goes? You decide". The interest is primarily in discovering who the general public favour...if this is not the case then it makes the whole procedure a farce.

I think the producers are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. Unfortunately it's all about ratings and we collectively love the fall-outs and the friction which is reflected in the ratings.

There is a lot of talk of producer favourites which don't think is down to the personality going in but the possible viewing figures if the show is manipulated hence Katie Hopkins getting the first task and now Perez getting the latest, you wouldn't have expected them to put Kav in there.

Do the good guys win? well certainly every winner is somebody's good guy so I guess ultimately it's still in the Big Brother Fans hands. You vote for who you like so I guess it's the public rather than the show that is changing? If they are changing at all.

I find when I go off Big Brother it's because my choice isn't doing well
