Perez 'walking out' and the housemates not thinking of the obvious.

When you think about it, Perez would have been asked to go to the Diary Room first if this had been real. I'm surprised the others that saw him walking through the house didn't think of it. I'm sure Perez would have been asked to go to the Diary Room first if this wasn't a secret mission. The others that were watching him didn't think of this. I mean, really, would they have let him walk without at least calling him to the Diary Room first? I don't think so.

In fairness to him Calum did clock a secret mission could have been the case but then they all Katie H included agreed that if it was a secret task he would have left through diary room and breaking from the exit meant it was a legit exit.

He didn't wonder why Perez hadn't been called to the Diary Room first though. I did hear Calum saying that it could be a secret mission, but was surprised that he didn't wonder why Perez hadn't been called for.

I think the fact he broke the fire exit, changed their minds, they werre suspicious until he done that.

Don't forget he was in a complete rage with Big Brother the evening before and then again that morning, so his exit must have seemed very plausible.

It would have been a lot more suspicious if he had been laughing and joking the morning he left.

they never know, we're not in the house, it must be quite convincing in the house.

I was just going to say the same. they sussed it within minutes.

Same old trick every year from BB.

They'd probably already memorised the script by then.

I actually think that for once, the way BB staged it was well thought out. The fire exit threw them off the scent. Not to mention the timing of the whole thing.

BB had been waiting for the right moment to use the secret room so when your most entertaining HM threatens to leave they saw their chance.

As earlier said, he was really enraged anyway so I think it was genius they way it was planned.

I thought it was Perez who threatened to leave??? Least entertaining describes him IMO.

I think it probably was fairly convincing, but I also think this group are unlikely to cotton on to any BB jiggery-pokery.
They don't seem very tuned in to the game.

BB could add all manner of twists and tricks and I doubt they'd suss any of them.

we already saw a few HMs kinda guess. Katie H was seen talking about a fake walkout right away on that Daily show BUT she decided it wasnt, b ecause he'd have to be the best actor in the world.

or some similar comment about his acting.

either way, i think no one will be surprised when he comes back prior to live show

How long was he in the DR? I get the impression he'd been there for hours - probably while BB consulted their legal team and made up a twist to get him to stay

At least half of them will shout, "I knew it...", because they seem to know everything was going to happen after it happens.
