He hasn't changed his behaviour all that much. And his priority still seems to be camera-hogging and winding up other HMs he decides to target, rather than having the public's favour.

with regards to Perez i think he did calm down a lot but is also aware that you have to "sing for your supper" in these things so he kept up the performance because that's what he's being paid to do so he's not taking the buried under a duvet route to the cheque.

Yes, it seems to be a combination of erasing some of what he did from history, and redescribing the rest as funny, not to be taken seriously, etc, when not instead excusing it.

No it doesn't put me off at all. It's just annoying not knowing precisely why it was deleted. Presumably someone complained about something or other, but without a notification detailing exactly why it's just... wtf? It was a very valid subject to discuss too.

If you don't mind me expanding on the point of short memories:
Perez suggested Cami Li act like a lesbian with Chloe to gain popularity with the British public
He said Michelle shamed the gay and lesbian community, a community she works to support, by being friends with Katie H
He dishes out insults but can't take them
He accused Katie H of being homophobic when all she was saying was that he should stand up for himself instead of always running to the diary room
Everything Perez says and does is about Perez - as proved when Alicia, his supposed friend, was evicted and he only talked about himself in the diary room
He has constantly acted up with the sole purpose of aggravating the other housemates and revels in goading them (per his conversation with Patsy)
And worst of all in my opinion- and I have said this on other threads - he purposefully targeted Alexander (standing by his bed coughing at 6:30 in the morning) and kept goading him throughout the day to make him break. And when Alex did and said an unacceptable word, he had a broad grin on his face before announcing how offended he was.
Alex left the house as a result because he knew what would happen if he didn't.

And through all this he is unrepentant and un apologetic - I don't even think he thinks he has done anything wrong the only reason he changed his behaviour was to win over the public after hearing "get Perez out"
And clearly its working.

The way he was so proudly grinning and prancing around the photos stating that all he had to do was smile to make them walk was sickening, he is one very repulsive specimen. Hopefully he will soon be back in USA never to darken our shores again.

You are absolutely right. People generally have short memories - they can remember what happened in a factual sense but not so well how they felt about a certain person at that time. This means that how people feel about someone can be manipulated quite easily, particularly in the context of a show like BB where there is complete control over what viewers are permitted to see.

The most simple method that they use to manipulate viewers is also one of the most effective: they present a person in a good light who has previously been shown in a bad light. This tricks the viewer into remembering positive events about this person and less negative events; when they do remember negative events, they will perceive these as less negative than originally. This is why you have seen so many comments along the lines of 'Perez isn't as bad as I thought'. So even though you know that you dislike Perez, you may not be able to remember why..

It's as well to remember that your thoughts and opinions are essentially being hacked when it comes to 'programs' like BB .

Its not that i have a short memory its the sheer hypocrisy of Katie H and co.
Having a complete shit fit over the whole Alex thing (and rightly so) saying how wrong it was blah blah and then doing the exact same thing NON STOP to Perez ..... You can not sit and say you feel that strongly against something (and mean it) then go and do the exact same regardless of whether someone "deserves it" .... If you were that against it then your morals / principles would stop you from doing that exact same thing.

It got to a point it was uncomfortable to watch. Yes if he says or does something then of course have your say but not keep on and on and on non stop when he is just sat there or if he has just walked into a room. THAT is bullying and THAT is goading. There are ways to deal with a situation and person and that is not it.

As for the little puppet in the corner aka Cami ..... Someone needs to take all the coins out of her so she shuts the hell up. I tell you now without Katie H or Michelle there is no way she would give the attitude she does. Notice she only seems to pipe up when one of those does.
