He wouldn't have gone though. He has gained a lot of support in the past few days, people are either warming to his antics or turning on Hopkins & Co for theirs.

It's vote to Save and even though he was close to Eviction on Friday he wouldn't have been evicted tonight. Vote To Save will probably keep him till Series Finale anyway
