How come we haven't seen the comments about Northerners that Patsy mentioned? Must have been pretty harsh for Patsy to have found the energy to react to them.

Hopkins' worst opinions are not being shown and the producers are protecting her far more than they are Perez. They know if she was not censored we'd be baying for blood, most of her opinions are deeply offensive bigoted nonsense. Let's hear them so we can make an informed choice about her place in the house. She's getting a very favourable edit and the crowd seem to be totally taken in by her.

I thought I had just missed the comments that she was referring to but it makes sense look at the way she spoke about the Scottish enchanted mirror on entering and it was kinda brushed over so i was wondering where these views had gone and it seems we have found out where they are, on the cutting room floor

From what Patsy said it sounded as if she was constantly voicing her less than savoury opinions on anyone and anything north of the M25. It's interesting we haven't seen*any* of it.

I'm from Scotland and lots of people who hated her re the Ebola slur seem to have forgiven her since she has been on this.

People know what she thinks. They knew what she was about before going in. And yet, early favourite to win.

I'm from Scotland and if I spent my life hating people who said dumb shit about my country on social media I wouldn't have time to do anything else

We've seen the comments about northerners. Do you people just choose to ignore things to make a point?

We saw her slate northern people on her first day.
We saw her say all northern people go to chip shops.
We saw her "well, it's a job" comment.
We saw her weirdo mum comment.
We saw her kids diet comment.

It's all been shown.

Really good post.

I must say I was quite surprised hearing Patsy say that KH had been down on Northerners to the point that 'calm, keep away from all conflict' Patsy felt she had to intervene. And good for her for doing so.

From what Patsy said KH seems to have said she's in favour of child labour.
Honestly, I know KH sets herself up as a bit of a pantomime villain, but some of her views I can't help think really are her what she thinks.

The last 2 were to Alicia, nothing to do with my point, neither is your 3rd example. There must have been some sort of argument/discussion about Northerners for Patsy to have mentioned she had to intervene.

2013 Glasgow helicopter crash remarks

Hopkins posted a tweet referring to Scottish life expectancy predictions based upon a 2011 NHS report, "Healthy Life Expectancy in Scotland: Update of trends to 2010". This tweet was posted following a heated debate on Scottish Independence during an edition of The Wright Stuff on which Hopkins was a panellist. In the wake of the 2013 Glasgow helicopter crash, the tweet raised widespread condemnation among Twitter users. Hopkins retorted "Following Independence I will only be the Biggest Bitch in England", and described people's reactions as "PC tastic." Hopkins issued an apology the following Monday reinstating that her original remark was in reference to the NHS report and was simply bad timing.[40]
My Fat Story

In 2013, Hopkins made a number of statements criticising people who were obese, including that she wouldn't employ someone who was.[41] In an appearance on ITV's This Morning, she blamed fat parents for bringing up fat children and attacked fellow guest, journalist Sonia Poulton, for suggesting a more compassionate approach, calling Poulton "a zebra in a wig".[42] The following year, she purposefully put on half of her body weight and then lost it over the course of several months, in an attempt to show that obese people can lose weight. Her progress was carefully documented by a camera crew, and it was then played on TLC, being called "My Fat Story".[5]
Other controversies and feuds

In November 2014 a petition calling for Hopkins' arrest under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 was started after she sent a series of tweets calling on the Israeli government to restart its bombing campaign against the Palestinians after two Israelis were killed in knife attacks, and describing Palestinians as "filthy rodents".[43]

On 31 December 2014, police announced they were investigating complaints they had received concerning Hopkins' tweets about Pauline Cafferkey, a Scottish aid worker who was diagnosed with Ebola virus disease after returning to the UK from Sierra Leone. Hopkins had tweeted: "Little sweaty jocks, sending us Ebola bombs in the form of sweaty Glaswegians just isn't cricket. Scottish NHS sucks."[4] In January 2015, she was voted the "dick of the year" by viewers of Channel 4 show The Last Leg.[44]

Patsy's from London, what on earth is she worried about what Katie H thinks about Northerners anyway??!

Actually I think her own shadow even upsets Patsy.

Patsy said it was mentioned in the staged debate but that debate was quite heated so I guess they didn't have time to show everything

People are being 'offended' on behalf of you tho. I'd feel patronized.

She never intervened. We saw Patsy go "oh my god" and look shocked at the "Well, it's a job" and we saw her mention at one point - to Nadia I think - the comment about northeners in chip shops - in which she said she didn't agree.

You're saying the other points have nothing to do with your point, but they do. You're saying they protect Katie - by doing so why would they show her saying those controversial comments? Yeah, you've got it! They WOULDN'T!

why on earth would someone have empathy or respect for people who aren't their own? Is that what you are asking? Is that a difficult concept to understand?
