There would be no point in doing so as he faces eviction every time. I think there are only two more evictions before series finale anyway

They know he is up so why would they nominate him? The short answer is "NO", they have to nominate two other people!

Yup. Makes perfect sense. They know he would be nominated regardless, so they basically are just forcing the others to nominate a 3rd person.
I personally like Katie Price on the show but I have a feeling - she is the one who will get screwed over by this.

He is one of the nominees before nominating begins ,so they nominate two Hms from the Hms left in the house .
The whole thing is academic anyway. Under normal rules he was going to be up for eviction each time in the future anyway, so it has changed absolutely nothing in reality. However the fact that the housemates who strongly dislike Perez cannot take an active vote in naming him will probably grate them big time in itself.
Anyway, there are only 2 evictions left aren't there? Friday, and next Wednesday presumably.

They know KH is popular from the crowds reactions & the betting odds so know that this twist was going to ensure he was in the final either way! The public historically hate BB Producers pulling a stunt like this so they will vote to save him therefore ensuring his final appearance because lets face Producers want the two of them in the final two!!

would be a waste as he's up and they know it.
But its annoying as most would have voted for him and used up one of their 2 votes leaving maybe only one or two others up. Now the votes will be so hugely split all over and maybe 5 or 6 will be up.
