Michelle?

She went into the house with a sizeable, massively invested and vocal following in the form of The Gays (by which I mean a certain homogenous subset of gays who watch Drag Race and repeat certain stock catchphrases and judge everything in terms of sassy fingersnaps). Those who hadn't heard of her previously thought 'she seems impressive, fair-minded and formidable. I am interested in what she has to say'. After a good first few days she had ascended to the lofty summit of being the favourite to win and no-one had a bad word to say about her, admiring the good intentions of her stated manifesto - to stand up for 'the misfits and the freaks'.

Fast forward to now and after a steadily rising communal murmuring of disappointment expressed as we watched her become the bitch of the country's most successful professional bigot, she is now crying about the hypothetical possibility that she may end up coming behind the show's very own misfit and freak, a contentious character called Perez, who she thinks it's acceptable to call 'that'.

It seems to me if her reputation isn't in tatters after this it bloody well should be. Whatever happens with Hilton or Hopkins they both come out with more notoriety than they went in with, and that's all, ultimately, either of them want. Michelle, however, doesn't currently look anything like the strong principled woman she sold herself as, but as a weak-willed fraud with fake tits and without the tiniest iota of integrity.

So, my question is, is it even vaguely possible there will be a bigger loser than her?

I think you might be right. I'm like many people on here - never heard of her before but instantly liked her on opening night. I really did. I thought woah!! There's one feckin feisty no-shit woman who will be such good viewing. Well..... I don't really need to say anything else, she aligned herself with KH. OK, I have no problem with that. But she has done nothing, said nothing, shown nothing at all in the house that makes me respect her at all. So yeah, epic fail all round really.

Meanwhile, back in civilisation, yes I totally agree and very well said.

I have to admit that for me she threw it away. Not that I have any right to expect her to live up to the expectations I imagined. But she was a huge disappointment.

I would say most in this country haven't a clue what she's on about nor do they care .

I doubt CBB UK gets much coverage in America so I doubt her reputation will be tarnished . She'll probably say she was loved by all the HM's except one .

Michelle's the biggest disappointment since Kav, Chloe, Cami, Callum, Katie H....

That's exactly how I though of her on first impressions but I don't think I've ever been so wrong about HM ever.


Sadly that just about sums her up. She's little more than the kind of joke figure/caricture you'd normally only see on a comedy sketch show.


It's undoubtedly been a missed opportunity for her ... but overall she's just been a cringey, hypocritical irrelevance... little more than a pustulent growth oozing away in Hopkins diseased buttocks.

It's such a shame, I so wanted to like her.

Sadly I think that once the dust has settled her greatest achievement will be getting a certain number of gays, those a little more challenged in terms of critical thinking skills, to adore Hopkins, and that's a really sad state of affairs.

yeah doubt her us career will be harmed in any way but on her initial interview she said she was hoping to do uk tv work after this. i cant see her getting anywhere with that

From her VT, I perceived her as the sneering, image obsessed fraud she's now exposed herself to actually be.

I like Michelle.. She's not controversial but does have a lot to say.. Just a shame she's a sheep to the Hopkins.

The only place Ive noticed any negative opinions about her are on this forum, and in youtube comments(which are already well established to be the worst of the worst of the internet). Literally everywhere else, she is the star of the show along with Hopkins.
But you believe whatever you want, that's all anyone on this forum is capable of.

I agree. I've seen hugely supportive, positive comments aabout Michelle. The OP spouts a load of verbal tummy runs. Michelle doesn't dislike Perez because he's gay; she dislikes his behaviour and the way he exploits being gay - such as with Alex, and with Katie H. That's what Michelle referred to in the Alex rant - and you'll be interested to know that many gay people are very supportive of what she did.

You'll be interested to know that many gay people have also clocked how she's against homophobia only when it suits her own particular purposes.

I don't think she's done herself any damage, she's just become a background character.

I was mainly pointing out what i refer to as the "isolation gang" or mean group, etc... that's been the most disappointing thing of the series for me.

I didn't know anything of her before BB so I had no preconceptions or opinion on her. I did wonder on launch night what the fuss was about though - was always something about her I didn't like.
