It may have already been discussed but I am not trawling the threads looking for it.

But after Perez calling Katie hopkins Homophobic for daring to tell him to 'Man up'

Last night from the when watching Cami from the safe house he said.

'Karma is coming to get you and 'her' name is Perez'

If someone else had called him 'her' he would have been up in the diary room

with the rule book...

why is calling a man "her" homophobic?

I'm a woman who gets called "guy" all the time. I see nothing homophobic in it, although it irritates the bejesus out of me

Can't see Perez getting all het up about that after all he's already been called an ass fagot and we don't hear him whinging and bitching and moaning about that, no, no our boy Perez is much bigger than that.

After putting him and his white shoes up for eviction seems Katie and Alex had much in common.

Neither is telling him to 'man up'

But he said it was..

He uses it to his advantage, but it shows he is not really offended.

I would argue that he was referring to Karma in the feminine

The name Perez is a biblical male name.

For christs sake are some of the posters on here allowed out without a nurse.

I don't think it's homophobic.

Read the OP.

Perez thinks that telling someone to man up is homophobic.

But uses the term Her to descibe himself.

So he doesn't find that homophobic.

Which proves to me that he was using his offence to try to get Katie Hopkins

warned about her behavior.

I think it's time I left this forum alone it's starting to give me high blood pressure.

Speaking generally, I think any person can be 'obic' about anything at all. I've met sexist women, for example.

We're products of our society so it's entirely possible for someone to absorb the stereotypes and prejudice they're fed. I also think depending on one's background, someone can feel self-loathing or shame and project this outwards.

Unfortunately there is a lot of internalised homophobia within the gay community and on the scene. Although some is just mistaken for homophobia. For instance, some effeminate gay men are persecuted by other gay men for the way they act. But, for me, I've never been drawn to effeminate men, have always been attracted to more of a stereotypical butch male. It's just a preference to what I'm attracted to, but have been accused of being homophobic in the past for it. But, I don't care how butch or femme any man or woman is, they can act however they want. It's just that I'm not attracted to certain traits, in the same way as I might prefer brunette over blonde etc...

No of course not, but they can use homophobic language.

So applying gender by saying "her" is homophobic?
