Nadia is coming across as a very unhappy woman, not able to take criticism in any way at all. From what I saw, Calum was simply suggesting a lighter meal, he wasn't saying directly that he didn't like Nadia's cooking. It's a bit like after Christmas dinner, nobody wants another roast, but it doesn't mean the food wasn't enjoyed at the time.
