He did not say Nadias food. Perez assumed he was talking about Nadia. She has not been the sole house cook the comment was in general about all the food.

He said he wanted lighter food, I assume Nadia as a mother likes to cook home cooked "soul food" like cottage pie or spag bol, stuff like that, but there's nothing wrong with people having different tastes to her! She can't take offence to what other people choose to eat...

I thought he said it was a bit heavy - not the crime of the century. There are always differences of opinion on how food should be cooked.
