I thought he said it was a bit heavy - not the crime of the century. There are always differences of opinion on how food should be cooked.

Yes, and Nadia totally overreacted , it made her look petty and silly.

But we're dealing with the unpredictability of the female mind here. I once complained lightly about a meal my ex cooked me and she didn't talk to me for 3 days

No, I didn't actually hear Calum say NADIA's food or cooking , and she's not the only one who cooks in there - so I've changed the OP , because I think it was only PEREZ who assumed that Calum was talking about Nadia's food-what a stirrer he is. grrr

That wasn't directly insulting Nadia's cooking, he even said to Nadia that she's aware he often asks her for advice, but he NEVER SAID she was controlling the kitchen or being nasty about Nadia's cooking was he, Perez twisted that, to cause trouble, he's playing a game and stirring things up to cause argument is part of it.”

His main motivation is to use Nadia to stir it up too.

Perez has the power - he could twist anything he saw the HMs say to wind them all up and turn them against eachother, he's started already and twisted what was really said ! He doesn't give a damn about Nadia, and she's got so much dislike for HMs like Katie , she's lost her morals and marbles in that house, she can't see the wood for the trees !!

Time Nadia stopped acting as if the food and kitchen belonged to her! If she likes stodgy food, then that's her right, but it's not good to give such food to others who might not like it. It's always better to ask first before making any food!

He bitched about her food. He lied and then bitched some more.

Didn't she say something like "if they don't like my roasts"? If she was cooking roasts every day I would be dying for something lighter.

Whatever she cooks, the others like cooking to, and are entitled to use the kitchen too, but I didn't hear Calum saying that it was Nadia's food that was horrible or anything bad, Calum obviously likes cooking so he even told her he wanted to cook something 'light' , that's ok, no idea what buttons that pushed in Nadia, but I think Nadia is very sensitive over her cooking sklils perhaps and took it as an insult when it wasn't. It's also the way Perez put it across that made it sound worse than it was !

I thought he just said they'd been having some heavy meals and it was time for something light. He wanted to cook chicken and vegetables.

That suddenly became him criticising her food and complaining.

Perez is winding Nadia up and standing back whilst she shoots his bullets for him.

Katie didn't rise.

I can't believe such a lot of fuss about such a small comment as "let's so something light because we've had a lot of heavy food lately". Nadia is so gullible she is taken in by Perez's selfish "friendship" and his shit stirring. Ridiculous woman!

You are lucky you didn't end up wearing the meal on your head!

Nadia is controlling, insisting people eat heavy food because she likes it.”

She was like a dog with a bone tonight.

He's kind of living up to what that Tweet said, but Nadia's seen Perez's behaviour , she's made her choices. And she'd have a go at anyone if she thinks they've criticised anything about her, - Perez's gameplan seems to be working, turning the HMs against eachother and trying to expose another side to them by riling them.

she's had lockjaw since Day One, and won't let go, because she doesn't want to admit she's controlling in there and thinks she's never wrong.

Exactly. This is what gets me, that Calum lied so the arguments were his fault. If he could have been honest about it and admitted what he said it would have all been forgotten. But no, he had to continue denying it but then in a way admitted it. Also why didn't any of the others speak up. There were several housemates around when he said it. What a bunch of tossers.

What also made her look silly is the fact she 100% believed what Perez had told her then realised she can't backtrack when it turns out not to be true.

What he said isn't that bad but he'd have been better off owning up to it in the first place rather than getting on his high horse. It took a while until he admitted he said her food had been stodgy. Perez was stirring it though to try to keep control of Nadia.

Not at all if he's open and honest, but he wasn't was he?! Awkward

No, it was twisted by Perez. Calum didn't even mention Nadia by name when referring to the stodgy food.
