Actually I don't they ever were truly fence-sitters.

They've been team nasties for a long time. They just never had to do the dirty work before, as they had Hopkins obliging - because it got her the attention she so so desperately craves.

Those two aren't fencesitters though. They sailed their colours to the mast very early on and chose sides.
They went with what appeared to be popular.
You can accuse them of being all sorts of things, but I wouldn't call them fencesitters, because that would imply that they are neutral.

I'm usually the first one to disagree with those who say 'BB would have been shit without ****' but now I've finally realised what they mean by that.

My thinking was that the less vocal HMs might get to shine if bigger characters are gone but in this instance its the bigger characters that have all the personality.

We'd have gotten zilch from most of the rest.
