I agree Moontaker, it was so nasty and vile of her to pick at Cheggers weakness and say it on national TV! It is something that Keith has moved on from years ago and she says something so nasty like that!

Yes me too. I did wonder because Chloe has been saying what a great person Hopkins is but to be fair they did appear to get on in the house so Hopkins had a change of heart, also she put Alexander up on the same night but now wants to say what a great bloke the big guy is

I saw it as KH saying Keith the Alcoholic and nice Keith or something. She was referring to personality changes that he undergoes in the house which may not be shown on highlights. If you have knowledge of alcoholism you learn that even when someone is dry at times they revert back to the days of alcoholism. In fact there is the term "dry alcoholic" which is a common term used in Alcoholics Anonymous. I for one think Keith would agree that he may still have traits at times of his Alcholic personality and he wouldn't be too hurt by the comments. One way Keith copes with stress in the house is by obsessional cleaning - something very common alcoholics use to deal with stress instead of hitting the bottle. He already said in one episode that this is how he now deals with stress instead of having a drink. What some people see as bitching I tend to see as observations of HMs of each other. I for one know that for a fact once in that house under pressure I would be bitching and usually I hate that sort of thing. We forget that they have nothing much to do except talk about each other. There have hardly been any tasks and there is nothing much else to do

All i Know is that whatever it was Perez said Katie had been saying about Keith she'd already said those things to Keiths face whether it included those two examples above who knows ,as it was only a short Clip

I find it hard to believe she called him an alcoholic to his face. She says just enough to his face for him to believe she's being straight and up front with him.

If she had called him an alcoholic to his face then that would make her cruel and unkind.

Well she didn't Actually just call him an Alcoholic full stop ,she said she finds it strange to view Alcholic Keith V Panto Keith and marry the two as one person ,so Knowing Katie she could very well have said that kind of thing to his face in a discussion with him if they were having a Conversation about themselves to each other

And that's kinda true... isn't it? It is the reaction most people had when the reveal happened... wasn't it? It's the kind of rubbish people chat about all day on places like this so why is it unacceptable to speak it?

You can have opinions of people and of what you see to be negative traits and still like them, be friendly to them. I mean who doesn't? We all do it!

And I think you are kind of reaching re the Michelle one. Michelle herself has made it clear she'd like to win and thinks she'll make it to the final. And Katie agrees. Just because you think someone is your 'competition' doesn't make them your enemy. it's weird that some people do think that and its say a lot more about themselves (Perez) than it does the person they're talking about.

Yeah to be fair not all of her fans but some would at least. Her persona seems to allow her to get away with a lot of unpleasant behaviour, i think i need to try that strategy out next time i do something out of order "it's just my persona so be impressed im so rude". It might work for me.

Did she know Keith when he was drinking? Was she with him when he was drunk? If not she is being judgemental. That would be a switch.

He assumed he'd heard it all - he clearly hasn't. I think Perez was sparing his feelings in not saying the really nasty stuff.

She was also fairly mocking of Alexander a few days into the show - so I don't know where she gets this sudden need to mourn his leaving!

Thanks brumilad - I saw it that way too and didn't see it as bitching at all. I think KH gives out her observations and opinions in a kind of emotionally detached way but its often perceived as bitching. I really can't understand why people get so worked up about some of the things she says. She is a journalist just as Perez is and he does the same.

Keith Chegwin snapped in the Celebrity Big Brother 2015 house last night, thanks to stirring from Perez Hilton.



After returning to main house on Tuesday night following three days living in a secret room, Perez has been revealing titbits about what he’s seen.

And in the house yesterday, Perez explained how he had seen Katie Hopkins bitching about Kieth and accusing him of playing a game.

Keith confronted Katie and explained: “I’m Keith Chegwin, I’m doing my own thing, I am not playing a game, I’ve come into this house to enjoy myself and be nice with everybody.

“Unfortunately, you may not be able to do that but I can and hopefully I’ve done that successfully and had a nice time. I’ve come for an experience in this house- don’t butt in – and what I’m experiencing is exactly what Big Brother’s like and I know how it works.

“I’m enjoying my experience and I like the people here and long may it continue!”

Perez was on hand to stir the pot some more, feeding Keith: “She said you’re playing a game, ‘Keith wants to win’ and ‘He so wants to win’, and saying he’s also being two faced.



“She was also complaining so much about you and your attempts to bring humour into the house.”

Katie however insisted: “I’ve said that to Chegger’s face.”

In last night’s highlights show, we saw tension between Katie H and Keith.

She complained: “Does every story have to return to Keith Chegwin? Half of [Katie P’s] boob is falling out of her body and we still have to listen to Keith’s cycling incident.”

Michelle and Katie H later have a discussion about Keith and Katie saying that he is not the most entertaining person in the house and remarking: “Alcoholic Cheggers v family panto Cheggers, very odd.”
