I've suggested elsewhere on this forum, though no doubt it's got lost in amongst all the Stepford Wife stylee rushing to hate on EVERYTHING Perez related, that perhaps Alex's homophobia was more apparent earlier on than we came to see on the HL show. He was certainly staring at Perez in quite an aggressive manner for a long time before the 'faggot' comment. I suspect that was what Nadia was referring to when she refused to be drawn on 'what I saw' in the argument with Kav. If I am right, then it goes some way to explaining why Perez apparently targeted Alex. He set out to expose his homophobia and he succeeded.

Sure. I get that. Tolerance goes both ways, after all. But as I've said above I suspect there was a little more to it than what we saw.

On that we can agree. I'm quite ashamed to say i quite fancied him at the start of the show. Suffice to say that's all gone to pot. In fact it's a remarkably similar trajectory he's been following in my affections (or not) as Steven The Significant. No wonder I'm single
