It really is a pity that you are not my neighbour: imagine how much fun you could have complaining to Neighbourhood Watch, much more fun than bothering Ofcom, with your seriously sad one complaint.

Lol some ppl seem to be ignoring that Katie kept coming right into his face and saying "don't insult the British public"

Tonight's episode was the last straw. When he tried to lick Katie Hopkins, she said no. When he chased her around the garden trying to kiss her, she said no. When she was talking to him, he tried to lick her again, she said no and moved away. Now, let's put 2 different housemates in the situation. Let's say Calum tried to repeatedly lick Cami against her consent. Or Ken chased Chloe around the garden in pursuit of a kiss. Both of those housemates would either be warned for their behaviour or removed from the house. Why has that not happened with Perez?

By giving Perez a disproportionate amount of airtime, Channel 5 have effectively condoned his behaviour. His behaviour is upsetting the majority of fellow housemates and many viewers. Channel 5 need to be seen to be acting on this.”

You are of course absolutely correct.
I am glad someone has pointed it out, unfortunately this forum is not perhaps the best place for reasoned argument.

Lets get this straight then.

So, you have contacted OFCOM because...

- You want a fun programme and there is too much arguing (a vital part of BB)
- It's being ruined by game-playing (errm... in a GAMESHOW).

Wow, I'm afraid those two points doesn't add up to an OFCOM call. OFCOM is for serious regulations being broken, people don't understand what OFCOM is actually for.

Complaining about game-playing. Whatever next? Next time I will complain when I watch Pointless, "I am disgusted that Simon played a game and ended up winning that jackpot".

Well sorry but that is tough s**t really. Nothing he has done has warranted a complaint to OFCOM. What rules of TV are Channel 5 breaking here ? You are basically complaining because you don't like a HM.

Because he's gay and she's straight.
And also even a cursory look would show the tone was one of fun, and not menace.

Take a chill pill mate.

Though I like that you took some action, I wish it'd been over something a bit more important and in the real world. Eg Like why our governments are allowing the global rich to take over the UK for starters.

How is he correct ? no rules of tv have been broken so there is no reason to complain. OFCOM must laugh at BB fans.

I understand why you don't want to switch off, but did you complain when Katie hounded Perez, and continues to do so, at every opportunity? or why she ostracises others who don't have her view point?

She invaded his personal space by getting right up to his face when belittling him, he had to do summat, BB gave her the chance to complain but she chose not to as she knew she was equally in the wrong.

I'm sorry you feel so disposed to take this action. However many people find him funny it's the blatant insulting behaviour of other hms that should be highlighted however, seemingly , the manipulative and mendacious behaviour carried out by others far surpasses anything he is doing.

The Katie and Perez show in its current format is getting stale and tired the new direction in which Perez was trying to drive it is just what it needs.

On the other hand you wouldn't want me for a neighbour at all. If someone annoys me greatly they generally regret it. You see, I'm quite quiet, friendly and very polite and keep myself to myself until someone is rude or antagonistic. Then the really don't know what hit them! I love being me!

If I was going to complain Offcom, I would have complained when Perez was faking orgasms in the garden. No doubt Katie could have got him out, except then she would be sinking to his level. She did exactly the right thing in my opinion. With style

(I have posted this in another thread) to be honest I think they both had a fun moment there for a change and reminded me of the old days of bb when housemates had fun in the house without an agenda - sorry but words fail why anyone would feel they should report this - as Katie confirmed

BBs been on UK TV for about 14 years now and every man and his dog knows what the show is about and what kinds of things it will show..

It also carries heavy audio and written warnings before the show and when they come back on air after each ad break.

People with 'standards' wouldn't be cretinous enough to watch a programme they know they'd find offensive and they wouldn't be petty enough to complain about something they know others enjoy.

It was suggested by the expert something-or-other on BBBOTS that they both know what they're doing - making a TV show.

Stuart I agree with you But Perez will be kept in so don't bother voting people. As for Open Heart why did you say that Stuart complained because Perez is gay? I think licking someone's face it as bad as spitting, she could catch whatever he's got and I hate to think about that.
