What is more amusing? OP complaining or FM complaining about the complaining AFTER the fact

Tellymix article - cbb bosses cut scenes of Perez " frantically thrusting his hips at Katie " also said some rude words they feared would cause outrage http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...com-fears.html

In an official statement, Nadia said - "Not my Perez, he's a good boy. I'm calling the ....."

Do you think BB and CBB should have to conform to the broadcasting code, like every other show on tv, or do you think BB and CBB should have a special exemption?

Complaints don't do anything so long as the shows stay within the rules. Ofcom has almost always decided in BB's favour. The exceptions are all times when most people in this forum agreed with the complaints.

In my opinion Katie Hopkins was loving it. When Perez was chasing her she was laughing and she was getting lots of air time (which she craves) all to herself. Chase me, Chase me

Tonight's episode was the last straw. When he tried to lick Katie Hopkins, she said no. When he chased her around the garden trying to kiss her, she said no. When she was talking to him, he tried to lick her again, she said no and moved away. Now, let's put 2 different housemates in the situation. Let's say Calum tried to repeatedly lick Cami against her consent. Or Ken chased Chloe around the garden in pursuit of a kiss. Both of those housemates would either be warned for their behaviour or removed from the house. Why has that not happened with Perez?

By giving Perez a disproportionate amount of airtime, Channel 5 have effectively condoned his behaviour. His behaviour is upsetting the majority of fellow housemates and many viewers. Channel 5 need to be seen to be acting on this.”

Katie had the opportunity in the diary room to compain. She said she was fine, that Perez was just acting like a child.

Stop being boring......it is a game show for goodness sake.

What makes me worry more is the fact people like yourself take it so seriously.

It all helps to keep them in jobs.
I actually read the OP twice because I thought it was a wind up.
Strange to think that people actually ring up official bodies over adult panto.

In fact before the series starts someone should confirm that no housemate has an edge over any other.

It would obviously be fraud to "pretend" that public votes matter if someone was given, for example, a secret pass to the final..

Eg Perez said in the diary room that in the house bb had promised he would not go hungry --- making a mockery of the shopping task because if they had failed Perez would gave gone hungry.”

Lol. Oh god, it's another one.

First off, nobody goes into that house on an equal footing. Someone always has an edge over someone else. Whether it's the length of their career, the number of Twitter followers, their reputations, their occupations, or their nationalities.

So get over your faux outrage. And don't worry, there's no way that Perez will win. Frankly, I don't know why anyone would pay actual money to vote over any stupid television show.

While you are at it why don't you complain about Hopkins targeting parents with disabled kids and her calling all Americans loud.

Whether you are on Team Perez or Team Hopkins, they both realise and so do many of their supporters, that they need each other to bounce off of. Neither have made formal complaints about the other (that I can remember) and I really can't see them doing so either.

I can't stand Perez most of the time (I don't mind him when he talks and acts normally) and don't mind Katie in the house so much. I really hated her on the outside of it and probably will again, but they both deserve to be in the final together.

In Britain? Not likely.

Insulting Americans, I think is grounds for an OBE or something.

They're not scared to have live streaming. They just can't manipulate the show and viewers as much if they have live streaming.

It doesn't matter if Ofcom is on permanent redial. Ofcom doesn't find against C5 unless BB breaks the broadcasting code that every other show on tv has to follow.

I know what you mean No does me NO and I see where your coming from, as there would of been certain types of viewers who would of gotten a kick out of a woman saying No and the man not listening and doing what he wants (vice versa if roles were reversed) Ofcom isn't the right place to complain about it I don't think. If you felt strongly as I know women who have had the misfortune of saying No and not being listened to (not saying you have) then this kind of thing can cause offence and upset whilst also triggering memories. Just send an email to C5 to air this. BB did ask if she was okay, you never know they might have had a chat with him a light one saying remember how it could be perceived on the outside etc.

You can be as threatening and abusive as you like in the BB house, as long as:

A) You don't offend anyone black or gay

B) You don't offend anyone black or gay

You did not break down the post. You replied as if it had said things it didn't.

Quote:
“Also, why target just my post when clearly others disagree with the OP. I respect opinions and all and the whole goading thing is fair (even though KH has repeatedly done this to Perez too), but I had to draw the line with "the gameplaying is ruining it", implying that the "gameplaying" aspect is one of the reasons for the complaint. Somehow I think gameplaying in a game show is not an OFCOM issue.”

Why are so many people misled by the coincidence that "game" appears in both "gameplaying" and "game show"?

In any case, the post did not say "the gameplaying is ruining it"; the comment about gameplaying was specifically about Perez's gameplaying and said this CBB "has been ruined by his gameplaying."

I agree. It has been ruined for me by Perez's gameplaying. That does not mean all gameplaying, no matter what it's like, ruins it.

Smiling, Grinning. It was a bit of pantomime before it all kicked off again.”

Licking someone is banter now?

Licking someone is their being in your space?

Anyway, many who weren't "fine with the Shilpa Shetty situation" didn't complain, for various perfectly legitimate reasons that do not disqualify them from complaining about something else.
