I honestly don't get Hopkins' popularity, she only likes middle and upper class people who have money or work. If you are not in this bracket then she will be insulting you some day very soon when she gets out - yes I know she is a 'Rent-a-Gob' but what a revolting way to make money, to insult and deride groups of people that are vulnerable or just 'not like her' in some way. Why are people voting for such an offensive person outside of the house?, because they think it is 'all an act and she would like them if she met them' - I am totally clueless but I have sadly accepted that she will win this year, so that the very people she is speaking out against can make her their Big Brother Champion - you couldn't make it up!
If you took everyone's votes for her, and then took away those from people who are fat, ginger haired, from the North (especially Scotland after calling them all sweaty jocks), have ever been unemployed, breast feed, claimed benefits, etc. etc. I doubt she would have been in there a week. Perez is a dick I know, but Hopkins has been arrogant, obnoxious and rude about a huge amount of her 'British public' for money - I am not one of her British Public, cos she is only for the British Private sector.
