I too have been afflicted with this particular ear-worm. It began to cause me embarrassing distress when I caught myself singing it in public. I have reduced my discomfort by conditioning myself to replace the lyrics with "Fits every garden gnome" - I find this scans to the tune perfectly and results in far fewer sideward glances from passers-by... It's also helped increase my sales (I sell tiny wooly hats on a street corner).
