OMG did she really do that to her step daughter??? That's dreadful.
But what I found funny today was her telling KP that she was in the house to get the money to pay school fee's. I'm not sure why it takes balls to say what you really think all the time. She gets paid well for it, she's not just doing some sort of public service.

I am sure there are plenty of unkind things I have felt about people in the past but I don't think it would be brave to say them if they don't effect me and could hurt the other person. Is my opinion more important than that?

It reminds me of being a fat teenager. Grown men thought it was acceptable to shout out that fact to me on a regular basis. These "brave" men thought it was a good idea to shout at an impressionable 13 year old minding their own business. These days I was probably laugh to myself and not think about it again, but when you are more vulnerable it affects you a lot. It didn't make me rush off and start a diet it affected my self esteem and made me lock myself away. Is telling the truth (I was pretty fat no denying that) worth doing that to someone?

I agree with Nadia, that because she has no empathy, she really doesn't see how hurtful her comments are. She is a vile, right-wing, intolerant snob outside of the house and she is doing a good job of hiding who she is to stay in. She had the benefit of observing HMs on launch night, she picked Michelle to align herself with because she knew she would be a strong ally. People so want her to have had a wonderful, warm, fluffy transformation or to actually be a lovely person that they are buying into her act. When she comes out of the house and starts spouting her bile again, people will see the real Katie Hopkins.
