Depends on when she wrote for Hollyoaks.
Hollyoaks was 10x better a few years ago.

If only there was some sort of thread dedicated to each episode of Eastenders, where things like this could be discussed.

You mean tonight's episode which is being discussed here? And why would it change my opinion of the episode? I thought it was a good episode, why would finding out the writer has worked for Hollyoaks change that?

this time last yearish with the jp/finn eps!

http://unitedagents.co.uk/jessica-lea

her work, she has a lot of soap experience.

didnt change my opinion at all. writers just put the words to the storylines. being a hollyoaks writer must be a challenging job

if one episode of eastenders being moved can have a dozenthreads then I think each episode should have at least 25 in order for them to be discussed in full!

If an episode is crap it's crap. If and episode is good then it's good.
It doesn't matter who stared in it or who wrote and directed it.

I am aware she wrong for Hollyoaks. I was aware of that before tonights EastEnders and that didn't affect my viewing at all.

Anyway as always there is an EastEnders episode thread for this sort of Discussion

I'll never understand or get the fixation about the writers behind the scenes on here. You might find you will enjoy the episode a lot more OP if you don't stalk the executive producer's twitter page, OP.

I agree. I know some people who judge episodes purely on the writer. This is simply not the case for me. It's either good or it's not.

Jessica wrote the John Paul rape episode.
