He holds it back for the relative privacy of the diary room so as to not make others feel uncomfortable and make his time in the house as pleasurable as possible.

That's my theory and I don't think there's anything wrong with him doing that.

The tears seem real to me too.....but he still needs to go. He seems to be crying a lot although this may be due to editing. The other HM's have said he gets upset all the time so maybe he'd be better off at home. He said he didn't mind going home too.

Maybe you should follow Keith's example and lay off the vodka.

I think Keith staying tomorrow would give him a huge boost. I'd like to see him stay.

For entertainment though - Perez just HAS to stay. And as the teaming of Perez AND Nadia winds Katie Horse up so much - then they have to stay as a BOGOF!

As I say - I like Keith but in the words of the Moody Blues I think he has to 'Go Now'.

Why is he fake? People can be nice to others not every one is as nasty as KH etc. whats with ppl nowadays thinking being nice to your fellowman and wanting to enjoy an experience you'll never have again without the need to be nasty is classed as fake

His happy persona is just how he is.....that doesn't mean that he never gets cross or angry. People aren't that one dimensional.....even gentle people get cross and happy people get sad. It's not rocket science and it's not even unusual.

The constant jokes were bad enough, but the fake tears in the diary room too ...but as OP said, it looks like it will work for him.

Seems it's not the done thing now to be decent and nice. Nasty people like KH are being treated like heroes and nice people like villains. It's a strange world. I find it sad

Nothing vile or even nasty about him. why can't he just enjoy the experience. makes me fecking sick and that Kav is becoming a right pain in the ass.

I liked Keith when he first went in, but this sitting on the fence, the tears that never quite make it down his face, got the trembling voice down to a tee, must admit, now it is getting tedious. If he misses his wife so much, go, that's all he has to do, instead of wandering around the house moping that no-one likes his jokes. KH hit the nail on the head as usual, Keith sprouted time and again, 'it's just a game show', when things were going his way, now he is up for eviction, different ball game.

So not joining in the unwarranted bitching sniping and general hypocrisy is sitting on the fence........ or just not pampering to imbeciles?

I think there are some really unpleasant things being said on this thread regarding Keith, whenever I have seen him being interviewed he always comes across as someone who seems very down to earth and genuine, and for the poster who described him as "vile" if he really was then after more than 40 years of doing TV. radio, theatre and films as well as singing and making records don't you think that by now someone would have unpleasant tales to tell about him which would have found their way into the public domain? The fact that AFAIK this has not been the case is either due to his agent and others doing a really good PR job on his behalf, or more likely the case is they did not happen in the first place. He is perfectly entitled to get angry and speak his mind just as anyone else might do in that situation and since we only get to see what the producers see fit to broadcast we don't get to see any incident which night cause him to react in that way. In my opinion he should win as he seems the most likeable person in there and I really hope that one of the two opinionated loudmouths Perez and Katie H get the boot tonight.

Can't help you there I'm afraid. I'm as bewildered as you are as to why some could refer to Keith as vile.

I really like Keith, and he is without doubt decent and nice. However, I do think he knew the effect his DR visit would have on the GBP. He'd be daft not to.
