Look at who nominated him, though....

I think he wants to please and he wants to be liked. That's always been his personality, he's a people-pleaser. Which is fair enough. Getting nominated started him getting upset, then considering the possibility of not being saved by the public did the rest. I think his emotional response was real... he probably was playing for sympathy a little bit too, consciously or subconsciously, because a people-pleaser personality type will do that if they've facing the prospect of not being liked... Sympathy being preferable to dislike. I don't see anything in him that's machievellian, or scheming or game playing.

He would have had no idea that his Diary Room visit would be aired. They all pop in and out during the day and we don't see a fraction of it.

Not quite sure why this matters? Sorry.

This forum is almost as ridiculous as Hopkins and co and their constant "ON THE FENCE"/"THEY'RE TRYING TO BE FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE" style accusatioins.

I'm not sure that edit was quite as strong for Keith as people imagine. He came across as a bit weak and wimpy throughout the episode, including at the end.

I only read a few posts but **** me sideways, what a nasty thread. Seriously, some of you need to get out more.

I think HMs can have a pretty good idea of what sort of DR stuff will be shown.

HMs have also been known to do or say the same sorts of things again and again, as if to increase the chances that one of the times will be shown.

But in any case, HMs don't have to know something will be shown before they act in a way they hope will influence viewers.

I can't tell if he is acting or if he is genuine. He seems like a nice and genuine guy but he is fairly boring imo on this show and I really no nothing about him except that he use to be an alcoholic and hosted a game show. I would prefer Katie H to go but I don't see that happening so out of the three other housemates, he is the least entertaining so he should go (imo). But he comes across as a really nice guy. I'm sure people have told him to f*ck off and maybe he just didn't pay attention.

For the people wondering why I called him vile, I was being sarcastic.

That's a hard thing to read on the webzone though, I forget that sometimes.

Are you serious? Cheggars is nominated and then has an awfully upset do in the Diary Room just in time to get saved by the public? Of course he knows it's most likely to be aired!!

I don't hate Keith, but I do find him a bit smarmy and passive aggressive at times.

I quite liked Cheggers until the fake tears - we were shouting get a grip man! He did the same with morning telly, went on and cried about being an alcholic and unemployable - boo hoo poor me, and that got him back on telly. He obviously thinks the same pathetic behavior will make him the winner this year!!!

I haven't liked him from the off. He brings nothing and says nothing. Imagine a house full of blubbering Keiths. For him to win would be a Twisted Fairytale as he has done nothing to deserve it. Sat in the background then cry in the DR at appropriate times. Rubbish housemate.

You think that by watching an adult TV show, younger people are going to emulate the likes of Hopkins and only sensible people will know the difference between right and wrong? That people will have their moral compass skewed by watching CBB?

Daft OTT post.

Well, whilst I don't agree BB should be held up as the bastion of taste, or a vehicle of morality, it is telling the past few winners have all been nasty pieces of work. Voted for by the public.

A man gets a bit of air time and suddenly he is vile?
That word is annoying me now. Stop using it like a tampon.

You only have to say something in that house now and suddenly people will come out and start slagging them for the sake of having someone to slag off.
