I think Perez is having more entertaining moments as the time goes on. Yes at first he seemed difficult to be around but when hes like this he is on form 
I agree though it does seem like hard work . Cockneys must have their own reasons for using those terms .

Apparently it first started in the mid 19th century and was seemingly designed to confuse. There are various theories as to how and why it came into use, but the most popular ones say that it was a form of code so that others wouldn't understand what was being said.
