BB warning the men over smallest thing yet the girls get away with it.

As a woman I am appalled that the smallest thing the men say or do in the house are getting warned, yet the women have been just as bad and nothing is said to them.

I do not like Perez but come on, that was done in good fun and Hopkins who I dislike was laughing and enjoying it, she also to her credit did not complain despite BB pushing her over what they thought was an issue.
I assume as Perez is gay and not bi sexual that he would not touch Hopkins with a bag of frogs let alone anything else.

Double standards BB as you have Hopkins saying she will suck Perez d***, you have her following him around goading, you have Cami li who has been offensive and aggressive. also Ken said when he came out that she bit his ear. These are just examples that are harmless yet can be deemed offensive, so why not say it to the girls.

It is just madness and ruins the show. I dislike Hopkins and Perez but I admit I had a smile on my face and enjoyed watching them both have fun for once in the house. BB have gone too far this time.

Hi reader

As a woman/moose I completely agree. It's getting beyond infuriating. Women harp on about equality ... well guess what! It works both ways!
I think back to Denise Welch pulling down the twins pants. It was "laughed" at and seen as a bit of fun from a drunken old woman. Imagine the absolute outrage had that been Perez, Ken, Jeremy who had done that. Would have had police storming the house in riot gear. The double standards are a joke. Where will it all end?

It was damn refreshing to see Perez and Katie enjoying a bit of mutual fun. What a shame the moment has to be ruined by this country's over sensitivity

I agree, it seems it is fine for Hopkins to tell Perez he has a teeny tiny weeny dick cos she has seen it in his pants.

I agree she has stalked and hounded the poor man relentlessly, tried to segregate him abused others for daring too talk, laugh ect with him. She should have been thrown out on her ass for this but he gets a warning if the ugly bitch wasn't in his face all the time she would not be close enough for it to occur, no wonder Perez went off at her he has been pushed well beyond the limit by the stupid bitch.

She didn't say she'd suck his dick. She said if he ordered her as Faery King to suck it would she have the right to say no!

Huge distinction. Massive distortion.

I agree that it appears that women can grope or grind on anyone without care of 'enthusiastic yes' and not be pulled up over it.

Great eg. Imagine if Perez dissed her for the size of her body parts

Denise Welch and Jeremy are the best comparison though and I said at the time how contradictory was the treatment of this quite similar issue. I don't have a problem with Jezza being kicked out as such but Denise not only remained but was crowned winner

Great thread OP One of the huge bug bears of BB is that you never know where you stand. The rules appear to be made up as they go along.

In my mind they are very similar and only wouldn't be if you thought Perez really wanted Katie to suck his dick. They were both said for effect and to make a point therefore they are the same. That is apart from Katie being tolerated and Perez bring criticised.

Hiya, hope you are well. Totally agree with you. I dislike both of them but it was nice to see them both having fun and enjoying it.

The problem is only going to escalate for men I think that they will not be able to glance at a female next. So ridiculous and total double standards.

I think Katie deserved a warning for her badgering of Perez earlier in the series.
For all we know she got one, they don't show all warnings.

It's tricky ground for BB when Katie clearly told Perez "no", but he didn't back off.
The fact that Katie didn't seem unduly bothered and even when he was chasing her round the garden she seemed to be taking it in good spirits, is neither here nor there.

BB needed to say something to Perez.
I know people here think complaining to Ofcom is a huge joke, but BB can't really afford to take complaints so lightly.

Pay no attention it's just BB trying to generate an angry mob lining up behind a unjustifyably vilified Perez.

"I'm so annoyed about this i'm going to vote for him 20 times" - kind of thing

The girls do tend to get away with a lot. She was laughing and joking and it was the most fun I have seen her have in the house, so BB have just gone too far this time.

My point was it was alleged in the OP that KH said she'd suck his dick. Its important to quote people correctly and to 'charge' people with what they have actually done or said. She was bucking his authority as King and it originally started about his feet. I don't follow you on what you're comparing that to in the bolded part of the rest of your post?

I accept she didn't say it as the poster you quoted suggested but it was a dramatic, excessive and unnecessarily crude thing for her to choose to say that Perez might ask for next. She chose it for effect as Perez did when he said it.

I'm annoyed about this too, the rules should apply to all.

In my opinion, KH has been in Perez' face for weeks and, as far as we know, has received no warning. Not only was she in his face but she made no secret of the fact that she was doing it to make him feel really uncomfortable. She was in his face when he stuck out his tongue so she should have moved.

Having said that, even though I don't like KH, I did enjoy seeing her and Perez having fun together and had a good laugh at them. She knows she's no angel and to her credit did not complain, so, why BB felt the need to warn him, I don't know! There was no malice behind his actions and certainly no real intent on making a pass at her. She took it all in the spirit it was meant, it's a shame these two can't have more fun in the house together.

Perez shouldn't have tried to lick her, BUT, why didn't we see Katie get warned too by BB as she constantly walks straight up to Perez and stands in front of him almost nose to nose, while having a go loudly about his behaviour.
She should be told that intentionally invading his personal space in an effort to get a reaction is not acceptable either.

Katy H laying on top of Nadia dry humping her is the same as Perez trying to lick Katy after Katy invaded his personal space, everyone was laughing both times but only one got a warning.

Yes true. There have been lots of other instances as well. As other posters have mentioned when Faye in BB12 tried to pull Anton's boxers down and grab his penis, when about 8 women tried to strip Ziggy in BB8, when almost the whole house stripped Andy in BB1. It's often seen as not being serious, or just a bit of fun if done by a woman or gang of women. Having been on the receiving end of a similar thing, I can honestly say it's not something I enjoyed in the least or would want to happen again.

It is. It's also setting a bad impression imho to the impressionable over what it is acceptable to trouble the police with. Their resources are stretched enough without having to chase trivial and innocent matters where no crime has actually been committed (narked as I would be if I was shortchanged hundreds & thousands on my ice cream

This show got lost along the way because of constant complaints to OFCOM and fans picking and choosing when to and when not to get annoyed with Big Brother.

It is people getting off on being patronising/persecuting. Call it the Nardia complex. It has nothing to do with good manners, or kindness, and everything to do with control and double standards.

You are so right OP , appalling double standards by those morons running BB .

Hopkins should have been warned countless times for her appalling bullying of Perez and invading his space and constantly taunting him .
Seems Hopkins can do what she likes in that house . I mean letting her write her column for the Sun is making a total mockery of the BB show .
