Might just be me, but when Katie H speaks....

.... if you listen to her and imagine the voice of Rick from the Young Ones coming out of her mouth, she's hilarious Especially when she was having her little rant in the diary room last night, she WAS Rick in a female voice. If you can imagine it like I did last night it's quite entertaining lol. Her words are the sort of stuff Rick would have spouted in the Young Ones, but obviously he was a little more animated. Go try it, go watch her diary room rant from last night and imagine what she says in the voice of Rick from the Young Ones, it's brilliant Best part about it, she has no idea.... she thinks she sounds clever, just like Rick did LOL.

Or then again, it could be me just trying to entertain myself whilst watching her. But it worked though, I was chuckling away to myself. (I'm easily entertained) lol

Ps, I don't think she should win though..... we British have a habit of voting for people to win that we find we despise just 2 weeks later. Remember Alex Read, Denise Welch etc...

I know what you mean.

I have a dark sense of humour.

When people get angry I get the giggles.

But, I'm laughing at K H not with her. It's very hard not to.

Peeps call Perez the clown. I see K H as a clown.

I don't see it as the proper way to be entertained though. "The Young Ones" where entertainers put themselves out there to be laughed at. It was their art.

K H wants to be listened to. She claims to be the one who will say to people's faces what she thinks. But, she forgets that she has no manners and being rude is not honesty. It's ignorance. Yet, she is the first one to accuse others of this.

A blinkered clown perhaps.

Bootyache, thank goodness you get my humour KH has become the house clown without realising it. Perez is trying to be a clown on purpose to entertain/annoy people, but KH thinks she's being 'the voice of reason' and 'speaks for the nation' so she's become a caricature of herself. I did amuse myself last night though imagining Rick voice, it was just the things she was saying lol

Usually when Katie-H is in the DR I zone out as I find her 'act' so dull, but I like your comparison with Rick and shall give it a go next time she is in there.
Thanks for the tip!

I'll try too.
Maybe try Perez as Viv - blundering around bringing chaos and mayhem to every situation.

I shall also try it, but just to be sure...is Rick the Rik Mayall character?

Oh I'm loving that link about the "Alpha male" Thanks for putting that up, that's brilliant! lol. It's confirmed my thoughts that she's a sexually frustrated toolbag lol. She has NO idea how daft she comes across when she says that she's the Alpha male in the house haha!

Lucy Lou, yeah try it next time she's in the diary room, it should give you a good laugh lol.

Bobbyd, I hadn't thought of that. Perez could be Vivian haha I'm seeing this show in a whole new way now lol.

Yeah, the one who tries so hard to be 'right on' and 'cool' but always seems to get it wrong lol. I was laughing so hard last night when she was getting excited and talking about how it's like being at Brownies, she even got quite animated over it lol. It's the sort of thing Rick does when he's trying to act like he's dominant, tough and clever, then he comes out with something related to Cliff Richard or something, then his cred is completely squashed lol. Oh it's sooo funny

I blame social media. Idiots like Hopkins think they're heroes just because some lazy ass pressed a 'like' button.

They could play that into the house if they are the final two. Give them a frying pan each, let them smash up the house and set fire to it. Last one standing wins.

LOL ok that's got me chuckling again now, I can just picture it, each with a frying pan battling it out to do the most damage lol Love it!

It's a shame they don't see how laughable they're coming across on the telly. Hopkins is taking herself far too seriously trying to be a 'good British citizen' with her "They need a jolly good clip round the cuff" quotes. She just needs to finish off her speech with "Yeeeerrr, stick that one up your nostril, fascists" LOL

Here's what it reminds me of:
Margaret Thatcher saying "We are a grandmother"
and
Thatcher's "Just rejoice at that news!" speech when British troops retook South Georgia during the Falklands War.

Funnily enough Thatcher is her idol by her own admission!

Very bizarre!

yes, that's what she reminds of and all that jingoistic crap she keeps spouting is ripped off directly from the Sun's front pages during the Falklands war.

I'm waiting for her to say GOTCHA! as soon as Perez gets the boot

Well she's certainly a National joke and irritant and regarded as an overgrown obnoxious gobshite adolescent. Yes your imagery works well.

I think she sounds like Jo Brand. (I like Jo Brand, so this also annoys me)

To me, when Katie Hopkins speaks, it often sounds like someone pinching off a bowel movement. That bouncy fake rolling manner to her speech, like she trying to sound like a Royal.

Not that the alternative (Perez) is very pleasant to listen to either.

Give me some more money...
You bastard...
