Worth Upgrading Mi-Fi?
I have a old white Huawei E5330 mi-fi device (3g only) which is used for my iPad and the rest of the family devices when out and about (plug it into a battery pack and it'll last about 48 hours min).
Still works OK but the area I live/work in is getting better 4g coverage and I was thinking of getting a new dongle. Only issue is I get 15GB of data for £15.98/mth on a one month contract after a "I'm cancelling" conversation with Three a year past November. Would I be better to let sleeping dogs lie on the basis that I am unlikely to be able to get the same with a new 4g device/contract? |

You can just get a new MiFi yourself they aren't much at all and put your current Three sim in it.

Thanks for that, so the existing Three sim would work OK with a 4g device without having to contact them?

HOWEVER in my area 3 network speeds are so good on 3G (up to 20 Mb/s) that the gain from using 4G would be be so minimal that I, personally, will not be changing my 3G MiFi any time soon! |

I got this deal for an EE Mifi. It's free on a 30 day contract so you can cancel it straight away - with 30 days notice this will cost £20. Then it cost me about a quid to unlock it on eBay for use on any network. Bit of a no brainer really.
