I can see the same exchange of words as being funny in a different situation and the recipient might laugh, but in this case I see it as Perez being deliberately vicious.

Ah yes. Funny how quickly people forget. Also funny how certain people conveniently ignore your reminder. Because no doubt Alex was driven to such behaviour by the VILE Perez. And clearly it's excusable in his case because It was directed towards Perez, and as everyone knows Perez is the devil's spawn fried in hell's butter, seasoned with Baphomet's nail clippings, and served on a platter in the shape of an inverted cross.
