Did Nadia have a good point about housemates scared of Katie because of The Sun?

The obvious thought hadnt occured to me actually until Nadia mentioned that she thought some of the housemates were trying to keep in Katie Hopkins good books or not get in her bad books because of her platform/column in The Sun newspaper.

This does make sense and I think its compounded by the fact Katies allowed to issue her column from inside the house -something I think should never have been allowed.Totally goes against the concept of Big Brother is my feeling.

Anyone agree?

I don't agree.

They must know that everyone is fair game for KH so being nice to her doesn't guarantee her being nice about them.

Nadia's unhealthy interest in KH means she blames her for everything. I won't be surprised if she blames KH for Ken, Alex and Jeremy leaving!

No, absolutely not.

What explains her popularity with the public then?

She is the bookies favourite and leads all opinion polls. Opinion on social media is generally positive towards her.

Nadia just simply cannot accept that Hopkins is more popular than her both inside the house and with viewers. She went into that house with the sole intention of going straight for Hopkins and she assumed the public would support her in doing so. Suddenly she's being booed and Hopkins is being cheered -- which eventually leads to Nadia being voted out before Hopkins. Nadia's strategy didn't quite go to plan.....

Katie's popularity is absolutely KILLING her.

She also said a lot of them didn't want to be associated with Perez because they knew he was hated by the public. Both theories are plausible.

The assumption being they were friendly with him before they knew he was unpopular which clearly isn't the case!

I doubt that Katie Price would be worried about what Katie H may or may not say in The Sun.

I do wonder about Michelle - she's very very desperate to be loved and accepted by the British public and really hasn't shown herself as "fierce" in the house.

No idea about the others.

They are all very aware of her power to smear their names in the Sun. Even Cheggers accused her of starting trouble to promote her column.

Katie's popularity should be killing her, it would be me to know that an awful bigot like Katie Hopkins is been applauded and cheered, while decent fair minded people are booed and their minor, personality traits are seen as more awful then Hopkins nasty bigoted views.

For sure, but if he was being cheered by the crowd, I'd say there would be a different dynamic.

We obviously follow very different people on social media then lol as I see mainly negative stuff about Ms Hopkins! Not sure though how much of a guide social media is as Joey Essex got lots of positive tweets and RTs when in the Celebrity Jungle and was expected to win but didnt.

Well put missbeenie.

It's not life affirming stuff is it, which most entertainment usually is. It shows that nastiness can triumph.

But I wonder if it would if we saw everything that KH has been saying - from what Patsy has been saying BB are leaving a lot out. Maybe because if we saw KH in full, people would complain and Ofcom would get involved and BB would have to remove her from the house.
And they must be selling a lot of advertising, which is what it's all about really.

No, because the Daily Star is the publication of choice for CBB.

KH has received a good number of nominations during face-to-face nominations so if what Nadia says has any truth in it, that wouldn't be the case.

I think it's certainly unfair. All housemates should have the same opportunities as eachother.
I think one of the hardest things for a housemate to overcome, especially nowadays, is getting their point across to the public, so for 1 housemate to have direct communication in a way that no-one else does is an obvious advantage.

They should have all had columns during their stay in the house. lol Would have been funny.
