I've tried all the supermarkets in Glasgow City centre and none stock it. In fact there were no other brands of corn oil, only sunflower and vegetable. Have they stopped making it? Or is there a shortage of corn?

Given the scale of the industry I doubt there's a shortage.

Have you tried the world aisles or an ethnic store?

Nope can't find anywhere. Tried Asda as well.

I wonder if it's to do with the GM corn controversy maybe they stop selling it?

Why the need for Mazola? Any supermarket's own-brand corn oil would be virtually identical and sunflower oil will do exactly the same job.

That's strange. Went to 3 Tesco supermarkets in central Glasgow and none had it.

More insistence out of habit... We've always used Mazola corn oil since I was a child.

I thought Mazola was a brand name for corn oil. Try some corn oil and you never know - you may like it

No? even my local shop has it. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it containing (or partly) rapeseed oil these days?

Mazola is described as "Pure Corn Oil" and is still widely available

I use pure rapeseed oil and the bottle I have in my cupboard is Mazola. But perhaps they still do corn oil too?

I usually buy pure rapeseed ( I smashed an expensive bottle last week - gutted but had to play it down as hubby didn't know how much it really cost him.)

Just saying, I was reading labels the other day and thought Mazola said rapeseed - obviously not the best version.
